(“Sutica eternal, for freedom, and prosperity.”)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On this day, 19th of Sun’s Smile, Year 20 of the Second age:
The Crown of Elvenesse has made a severe breach in the neutrality of the Trade State of Sutica, committing multiple egregious attacks on both the citizenry and leadership of the Federation, the enacted heinous crimes were done during a time of peace, a time of no strife and occurred with unknown intent, and little to no provocation before hand. It is believed the Elvenessi have attempted to weaken the Trade State before going to war, without claim or Casus Belli against the state.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These crimes are listed as followed, in chronological order.

  • First, the kidnapping and execution of a Sutican Official and Leadership in the dead of night from the front of their home, with blood having been shed in the kidnapping. The individual has not returned, and when asked for the individual to be returned the Trade State has been given no answer or hostilities.

  • Second, the unprovoked attempted murder of Sutican citizenry on foreign soil, as well as in the dominion of Elvenesse. This being, as far as has been made clear, Leilatha, a voidal mage within the capital city of Sutica, and Markir Arilathen.

  • Third, the attempted execution and arrest of a Sutican vassal captain and heir, whilst they were investigating an individual involved in the murder of an official.

  • Fourth, an attack on the Capital city of Sutica, with intent to seize control of the entry, forcefully extradite someone and take control of the roads, with the intent to arrest ALL individuals along them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unless heavy reparations are paid unto the Sutican State and its people, there will be no choice left but for the Trade State of Sutica to escalate their response to the Crown of Elvenesse. The following reparations are to be paid:

  • 2500 mina to the Sutican Crown.
  • 1500 mina to the Family affected as compensation.
  • 640 pounds of Ferrum (10 Stacks of Ferrum.)
  • The Crown of Elvenesse will issue a formal apology to the Federation’s leadership, and an in person apology to the family members affected by this needless, unprovoked killing.
  • 10 Full suits of ferrum armour for compensation to the guardsmen and women that fought off the Elvenessi, along with Ten Longswords and Ten Crossbows, with a full quiver of bolts per crossbow.

A certain elf wearing a pair of golden goggles would begin to wander the roads of Sutica, covering every free spot with as much propaganda as possible, while simultaneously munching on some of that delicious and nutritious Sutican BreadTM

Tsune Hirano looked over the notice over a cup of tea, her expression a mix of both incredulousness and amusement. "Elvenesse is just being used as the continent's emergency fund at this point; If I run low on my ferrum stock I should accuse them of war crimes, Its in vogue after all."

After reading the Rex's demands upon Elvenesse, the Dark Lord withdrew a heavy sigh. Surely there was nothing else strange happening lately. Then he flipped to the next page of today's newspaper.

A particular Hound would cackle condescendingly at the missive, rolling in its grave - quite literally.

"Wow betide the foolish Heretic, the liar and the coward! The cobbles shall be slick with blood, but I doubt it will be of the Aspect's lapdogs..."

That damnable mutt, clad in onyx furs, would then flee into the nearby tunnels as it heard the tramp of its stone-wrought brother.

"On God?" said Trade King Corwin, folding the missive to forward it to a peculiar correspondent...

"Execution?" Echoed Gailien, having witnessed the scene for himself. "Their 'heir' spouted nonsense to the face of the High Prince during this apparent investigation, then fled from arrest upon our territory where it was due.

If they so easily twist the happenings of one story, how easily have they twisted the rest?"

"Ready for war!" declared one particular half elf, shoving a helmet over his face and brandishing a miniature toy sword. He would likely be more of a burden to whichever side he fought for.

"What the heck- Already? It hasn't even been that long for people to start complain about another thing Elvenesse has done... At this point, I feel as though someone has cursed that nation for bad luck, It's not even normal..." He'd read over the newer missive, chuckling to himself as he crumbled the piece of paper and tossed it to a large pile beside him. "I'm going to start collecting these missives"

Solus stared down at the missive, a surge of guilt building in her chest. "Something's happening to Elvenesse, and I don't like it.." she muttered.

Seraphite sighs as her eyes reach the end of the missive, standing from her spot at the table in her home. The 'thill's eyes drift to the fire, the crackle calling softly to her. She moves to it, staring into the flame, her grip on the paper tightening as she slowly crouched in front of the fire, humming. "Sutica Eternal, for freedom, and prosperity...." She trails off, her eyes hardening as she stands, suddenly set on something new.

She turns, stepping through her door and making her way out of The Silver District, smirking slightly as she catches a familiar pair of cold, blue eyes. "Mal'maronn!" She hollers, waving the missive in the air. "Have you heard the news?"

Seraphite steps forward once before stopping in front of her cousin. "Elvenesse isn't doing too bright," She holds the paper out. "But you know what they say. Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya."

Garret Darkwood, Orenian Diplomat to Sutica reads over the missive raising an eyebrow "It appears....the entire known world is going to be at war, over something someone. Well, at least it is not beating up on Oren like the Iron accord right now" Garret Darkwood then takes a sip of tea and breaths in a deep breath "I always saw Elveness as more peaceful and neutral than Sutica. It appears my analysis was wrong"

Wandering the vast plains of Central Almaris, a dark blue skinned figure was seated besides a campfire. His pale orbs carefully read over the proclamation, the fire crackling before him. The Mali'ker did not like the Suticans, but held nothing but distrust and disgust for the Elvenesse Mali. "Those who bring corruption to the purest of the Ashen Folk, shall be brought upon them nothing but suffering and despair." He concluded, seeing the upcoming conflict as nothing but the will of Velulaei. The fire was soon to consume the missive, as the 'ker fed it the parchment.
