A missive is spread throughout Almaris, reading as follows:

To the blood-hunters, or "vampires" -

We know what you did.

One of your kind called "Ludovici" attacked and corrupted an Archvigilant of Wyrvun. There is no greater sacrilege.

We know where you live.

Your covens have been uncovered. Your identities are known.

We are coming.

End this "Ludovici" and bring us his corpse, or we will annihilate you. The paladins may break bread with you and forsake their divine task, despite the will and bestowed powers of their "Xan" - but we will not compromise the will of Wyrvun.

-Wyrvun's Vigilants

Abraham writes on the back of the public letter "Fear not fenn, for your Archvigilant does not need to die. The curse can be reversed. I would like to join this effort in finding the vampires, for I wish to cure those who have been turned against their will and vanquish those who purposely prey on our descendants." Abraham gently folds the end of the public missive so that perhaps the author might come to notice it.

Do you know what it feels like to cleave a loyal man's head from his body? Sister never really manages to explain the complexity of the spine. The sturdiness of each vertebrae. Nevermind the anguished silence from those unfortunate onlookers. The former Archvigilant expires a glacial breath, gaze glancing 'pon the missive under the absent flame of an unlit candle. "'Prince in the North' weighs differently when the throne is propped up in blood, doesn't it?"

[!] A missive is plastered below that of the Vigilant's, bearing the seal of a roaring lion.

"To the Vigilants of Wyvrun,

We would be interested to know how we've broken bread with vampyres, when your Prince has called us to aid in the extermination of them - and we've obliged at our swiftest convenience, and have indeed aided in the culling of a great many of these parasitic scum, numbering easily over a dozen dealt with in total.

We uphold our task, and we prosecute His will with ceaseless fervor. Make baseless accusations as you will, but we shall continue our mission regardless.

The Brotherhood of the Golden Lion."

Akkar Tundrak sat in the Fennic' smithy at the back of the town repairing his plate armour, after the many Svarling attacks sizzled out of prominence his mind now set itself on the obligations one normally has against the evils of the realm, and preparing for yet another fanatic purge.

Mera Camian nodded singularly as she read over the small threat, "Good, someone's got to do the job, and the Father knows I'm too damn busy,"

Some other woman shrugged and tossed the missive aside. "Boy, I sure am glad nobody knows where I live... Hopefully."

Vikne Kjeldsdóttir read over a copy of the threat she picked off some poor, dead passerby. "Vampires? An interesting development," The Svarling warmaiden remarked, folding the note and tucking it away. "I wonder..." Her voice trailed off, and she began the trek back to her camp to start concocting a new scheme.

Vukosav stood reading the missive, after a few moments he said "Everyone is against us" pausing a few seconds he added "Until we offer them to join us, I do hope these new vampires come out alive from the ordeal."

Maria Romstun de Rosius shuddered. The thought of vampires alone scared her, knowing she's likely crossed this Ludovici on the streets a dozen times seemed to scare her even more. "Maybe I'll stay home for a bit and let them deal with it."

The vigilant of seclusion, Velulaei'Avern Araaloq, comes across the missive on his travels. Gazing longingly at its contents before wandering off with few words said, but plenty thought.

[!] An imposing Eurasian Eagle owl would find the man. "Tell me of which Paladins you speak and I will ensure their punishment. Return your letter with the owl, he knows his way home." The letter is unmarked.

Arevthor Tathvir, tired from his recent voyages, lazily reads over the missive. Slowly he rises from where he sits, a wicked smile crossing his lips allowing his aged teeth to gleam in the warm light cast from the fireplace. Slowly he begins to mumble to himself, speaking as if preparing for an audience.

A shadow has been cast across our people, our lands, and our beliefs.  This is not only an act of sacrilege, but a challenge of our strength.  These 'Vampyres' believe that the Vigilants of Isvinity, and to a larger respect all of the Mali'Fenn, will sit aside and allow them to do as they please?  Feed upon whom they so chose and convert our kin to their dark ways?  If any other had been approached as we have mayhaps that would be the case.  But we are Mali'Fenn, born of the Ice and Snow of the north under the grace of Wyrvun.  We will stand fast against these foes who threaten our way people, our homes, and we will cast them back into whatever pit they dragged themselves out of.  No corner of this realm will provide them safety, for our light will triumph over their blight."

After a moment the Snow Elf shrugs, deciding that will do for now before heading towards the local tavern to share his thoughts and words.
