BenevolentManacles 2232 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Our Patrons It should be that in every Canonist realm there exists the true and faithful tenets of the Holy Scrolls of Canonism. These works are simple to pervert, however. For centuries, and even now, there are those who throw a single-pattern quilt of monotheistic theocracy over their insatiable desire to subjugate, and to make others lesser. The Holy Scrolls do not command us to do anything but to live a virtuous life, and it relays what those virtues are. Where purity has been corrupted as a tool for genocide, it is instead an expression of our liberty under God, to be pure of soul and spirit by our own volition. There are examples of virtuous lives, and from those stories we learn. So, we endeavor to do the good work of the Saints, whose spirits patronize the many aspects of our society. We charge ourselves to embody our Saints, and to protect those aspects of the faith they represent. “The Lord is Our sovereign, and so he is sovereign of all of Our subjects.” Saint Harald’s House Vuiller Priest Combatants and Demonic Banishment "Be Our inquisitors. Find the evils of this realm, and bare them before the light of God." Saint Adrian’s House de Rosius Statesmen, Lawyers, and Politics "Share with Us this holy duty, the Stewardship of the Lord's flock." Saint Andrik’s House Darkwood Victory, Military Excellence, and the Schism War "Make no compromise. Make battle your art, and do it in His name." Saint Rudolph’s House d’Arkent Redemption, Musicians, and Beggars "Uplift the downtrodden, that Our poor will know His eternal love." Saint Judith’s House Tuvyic Wayward Women and Nuns "Be Our guide and guardian of the abused and forgotten." Saint Edmond’s House Galbraith Knights, Hospitality, Baronial lords, and Auvergne "Be an example of chivalry. Share your love of Country and God with friend and stranger alike." Saint Lothar’s House Pruvia Lorraine Cross, Princes, Courage, Heraldry "Fear nothing. Do that terrifying thing which no other will do, and know He protects you." Saint Nafis’ House Basrid Farfolk, Fishermen, Diamonds, Converts, and Revolution "Find within Our realm the mysteries and the mystic. Invent Our future." Saint Godwein’s House Huntshill Honesty, Woodworkers, and Skin Afflictions "Be Our guardian of the natural works of God. Share your spirit with them." Saint Pius’ House Melphestaus Confession, Elven Converts, Parish Priests "Be forever magnanimous, and share it with Our elves, so they may know Our Lord as He is, and not how His word is twisted." Saint Tobias’ House Aldersberg Merchants, Comets, Wealth and Charity "Teach that gold is the wealth of the Lord, and give it freely in His name." Saint Foltest’s House Helvets Bastions and Siegeworks "Destroy the monuments to Our foes and the false deities. Be relentless in your purity." Saint Joren's House var Ruthern Mountainfolk, Winter, the Imprisoned and Highlanders "Be the scion of our ancestry. Instill upon Our subjects your fortitude, and the story of Our people." Saint Michael's House d'Azor Patron Saint of Passion, Exiles, Service and the Eighteen Years’ War "Be the example of Our meritocracy. Despise nepotism, for it stifles innovation, and be the Lord's warden against it." THE PATRON SAINT OF THE EMPEROR SAINT JAMES II

Harald 2875 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Johan Vuiller would smile upon seeing their patron saint and his father at the front of the missive, the aged man looking over the city of Providence as he entered the gates. A particular Saint would be standing next to St. James II smiling at him as he pointed down "See Godric! they mentioned vy!" he'd chuckled looking to him @VIROS

Josef_Rippelberg 0 Share Posted October 10, 2021 And so the young Philip Galbraith stands in front of the statue of Saint Edmond at the Barony of Rivia. A bright smile overcomes the future Baron as he watches the stone silently. Praying for his Patron saint. As the thoughts rushed his head and the words were spoken only one thought could truly remain 'One God. One Empire. One Emperor.'
KaiserJacobII 1458 Share Posted October 10, 2021 "These are some very well-chosen Saints," Cardinal Francis states with a nod, adding "I am very proud of this Imperial nation, and the virtuous path it is currently on!" The Clergyman then moves to his small altar to Saint Alexander and reverently kneels before it. He closes his eyes in prayer for the Empire, it's Emperor, and it's people. winterblood 11181 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Moliana huffed with irritation as she had to come into the courtyard of Woldzmir every other hour or so, to scare the pigeons and crows away from the shrine to Saint Judith. Unfortunately, they were drawn to the offerings of berries and various shiny trinkets. "SHOO! SHOO! GO ON, GET!"
Mattiii 1663 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Sir Otis de Rosius sat on one of the many rolling green hills of Redenford, watching the labourers harvest grain for his quest. "My, this is exhausting." He wiped a tear of sweat off of his face from underneath his umbrella. _____________________________________________________________________________ George Alexander sat hunched over his desk, reading bank statements with a grimaced look upon his face.
