Terry 1859 Popular Post Share Posted November 13, 2021 13th of the First Seed, SA 50 (November 12th, 2021) ᚾᚨᚱᚺ-ᛞᚨ-ᚾᚨᚴᚺᚢᛗ'ᚢᚱ-ᛞᚨ-ᛟᚱᚡᚢᛚ-ᚾᚨᚴᚺᛁᛗᛁᚱᚨᛉ A MISSIVE TO ALL OF URGUAN ᚡᛖᛚᛖᚱᚨᚴ-ᛟᛉ-ᛞᚨ-ᛟᚾᛟᚱ'ᚴᚨᛞᚱᛖᛚ'ᚾᚨᚱᚺᛖ To My Fellow Dwedmar and fine Folk of the Grand Kingdom: It is with a heavy heart that I, Grand King Ulfric Frostbeard, announce that the Grand Kingdom, upon the release of this missive, shall begin preparing on a nation-wide level for confrontation with our enemies, be it whoever dares to stand in our way. With such an announcement however, I must stress it’s reasoning. For as long as I can remember, the Grand Kingdom of Urguan had been a sight to behold. The Legion was thriving, our guilds and halls filled with hardworking and determined folk, our taverns filled to the brim with ale and dwed, laughing and shouting until the day was done. We were respected, as we respected those we deemed respectable. No longer. It is clear now that those around us view the Grand Kingdom differently nowadays. They believe we are weak, disjointed, unorganized, and unfit to contend on that of an international scale. They believe they can slight us and get away with it. This missive will see fit to disprove them all. The Grand Kingdom will no longer stand to be insulted as it has been recently, and will no longer stand to watch grudges go unwritten and unpunished. However, as we look inwards to the Kingdom, in the midst of revitalization, we will require every able-bodied citizen to do their part. Therefore, I call upon the Grand Council, to assist and help pass our act on vassal reform. I call upon our guilds, to properly prepare and be ready to maintain that which will be deemed needed soon, and lastly, I call upon the common folk of our Grand Kingdom. See what you can do to better prepare yourself and the Grand Kingdom for the arrival of our enemies. Narvak oz Urguan. Elite Snipes 3542 Share Posted November 13, 2021 Bakir "Orcs Blood" Ireheart smiles as the Grand King issues his declaration "Anyone who chooses to cross the sons of Yavok will be dealt with the axe, I would like to see those dishonorable and disgusting high elves burn though"he said chuckling to himself as he ordered another drink at the Urguani tavern.

Lapidary 386 Share Posted November 13, 2021 Celeste'Tol Blackroot scanned through the missive, a small frown crossing her face, though it was not in any distaste. "Urguan an et's people are soh scattered, weh need teh bring our kin back teh prepare.. Ahll need teh discuss our standin' in teh next meetin'." The high chief set the missive aside, adding another scribbled note for the next Hefrumm meeting.
Jason of the North 202 Share Posted November 13, 2021 Ajax Frostbeard, having been back in his hermit hovel atop one of the snow capped mountains of Urguan's homeland receives the missive from his son, Bojak. Reading it he crumples and tosses the paper into the hearth fire, discontentedly sighing "Another pointless war.. another crashing of dwed and steel into the tall folk, like the ocean on the rocky shore.. It never ends.. and it never really accomplishes anything after a century... Hopefully we don't lose anyone important in this conflict..." The disenfranchised dwarf returns to his personal works, idly scribbling away at melodies, recipes, or whatever Belka decides to inspire him with as he wastes away his last years in his self imposed solitude.
SteppeNomad 1552 Share Posted November 13, 2021 At last, the forces of the earth move again under our feet. Maybe that will spur the roots into growing, or the settled man into watching where they step. Horsemen of all kinds ride the great fields of the Urguanic steppe, and though it's borders are invisible to them, a call for battle is always answered by those noble men who seek to take what they need, earning it by tip of their spike and shield

"The war cannot be that pointless, the Mali'aheral are the reason that Urguan and Stygian Hollow is at the risk of being overrun by the blight of Ando Alur." Ruathar Indoren pinned the missive on the notice board in Stygian Hollow after hearing the news.
