Werew0lf 12095 Popular Post Share Posted January 5, 2022 THE JINN TRIAL محاكمة الجن From the dunes of the Fakhr Oasis, a man of northern-descent made his arduous strides towards a decrepit, putrescent castle of sand. The maw of its structure was elongated by two red-jewelled, serpent-esque heads, and they were fitted with carvings and inscriptions foretelling the Lord of Deep. The pragmatic wayfarer continued his perilous long-haul, and made shelter under the rags of a forlorn, abandoned merchant-tent. On one of the wooden shelves, besmirched by cobwebs, the traveller noticed a book – and as its pages flipped rapidly open, a roaring hum emanated from the words. “Lord of the Deep!” THE HUMAN And the first trial was spoken by the human, and the Lord whispered his word. “I stand guard, and now my crops are dirtied and spoiled by the scorching sun. Tend to them, and harvest.” The wayfarer agreed to help the man prepare for his winters’ barley, and he dismounted from his stallion. On the first day, he took a hold of three buckets filled with murky water, and began to wash it over the tender crops. On the second day, he milled the water through the riverbed and allowed for the crops to ferment. On the third day, he cleaved and harvested all the wheat, and culled all roots from the potatoes. And on the last day, he tied the human-guards pluck against the farmpost, and barded his lute for entertainment. THE ELF And the second trial was spoken by a silky elf, and the Lord whispered his word. “I want a sculpture of myself carved upon this slab of wood, and formentions the semblance of failure!”The wayfarer agreed to help the self-absorbed elf, and began to carve his dutiful bounty. On the first day, he stared at the wooden slab, and made outlines of the elves’ vague structure and frame with a lodging knife. On the second day, he chiselled the outlines that were made, and peeled them off without discourse. On the third day, he indented distinctions and made life to the wooden statue, wherein its structure was now perfected. And on the last day, he bundled the sculpture into a bamboo-box and gifted it to the silky elf, and barded his lute for entertainment. “I will accept this.” THE DWARVES And the third trial was spoken by a stout, veiny dwarf, and the Lord whispered his word. “Come, and wash my dirtied feet. They have rotten from my journey.”The wayfarer showed humility and nodded, slowly leading the dwarf towards a nearby lake. On the same day, he scrubbed a rag across his right foot, and ensured to remove all grime and dirt – it festered in the water. And then he moved to the left foot, and ensured to remove all grime and dirt using the grotty rag – it festered in the water with its brother. The dwarf was thankful of this favour, and allowed for the wayfarer to depart. So, the Lord made merry; he found the task weird. THE ORCS And the last trial was set upon by a pale orc, covered in scars of red from his numerous battles, and the Lord whispered his words. “Gub’meh haz luz’h armoor and weapon!”The wayfarer showed charity and kindness, and headed out on his stallion – it galloped to the nearest merchants valley. On the same day, he bought clad-steel armour befitting an orc, and garnered favours in order to afford the expense of a warhammer. And then he returned to the gates of his kingdom, and offered the armour and warhammer. To this, the orc was pleased and showed kindness in return of a generous farewell calling. So, the Lord made merry; he found joy in his charitous act. THE SHACKLES محاكمة الجن "Mankind has lusted for power, and to squash freedom. Show me the freedom of your creativity, and make shackles that cast away the same freedom you so verily hate.” - Ronvir the Wanderer Ivan stared at a cast set upon some rusted anvil; a gleaming eye of lustrous-gold sat upwards across a lectern. He inspected the melted gold and black-ferrum that yielded within a boiling cruze, and allowed for it to anchor downwards into the cast. With hefty swings, the hammer thundered its willpower across the cast, and cooled overside. The bearings of the shackles were carved by rings of gold and purple, and its midriff was set in black-stone. “Subservience.” The man barked, and his countenance shifted into that of fervent ambition and desire. His eyes shimmered with passion, and lusted with desire. It was made; two shackles to be fed. Forlorn whispers cast his ears, and they emanated from the eye.
