A BURGUNDY ULTIMATUM

For many years, the people of Blackvale and Yong Ping have lived peacefully together on the Island of Almaris, first as neighbours only a stone's throw away, now as distant family. Sadly, since we left your Holy site, the Peak of Heaven, cravenous dogs have been lurking on our former territory. It is self-explanatory that my levymen wish for our precious mountain to remain safe, guarded by the brave men and women of Yong Ping. For this reason and with a heavy heart I propose the following to the Boss of the Rustler Company.

The proposal: The Rustler Company will pledge itself as a tributary state beneath the County of Blackvale.  The aforementioned company will provide a yearly payment of 50 minas to Gaspard van Aert. If this agreement is accepted, the Rustler Company will be allowed to receive tribute from Yong Ping.

SIGNED,

Gaspard van Aert, Count of Blackvale, Prince of Renatus, Baron of Pestilles.

When reading the missive Yves could feel a strange feeling in his stomach. He would jump up,

running from room to room, hurrying to gather everything he could possibly need to defend his holy mountain "This could very well be the fight of you life" He'd mumble to himself

Ser Dimitri of Pestilles would give an approving nod to that of his Lord. Drawing his sword and letting out a cheer before the veteran moves to down a barrel of ale
