While being preoccupied with matters of  apparent diligence in their Fort of [redacted] the pretenders forces once again have failed to protect the manors and estates in which they ‘rule’ over. It is a true shame to have to take such drastic actions against our cultural brethren within the Barony of Darkwood. It is however self-evident that the men of Darkwood have betrayed the Crown and lent their support to the craven pretender Peter. It is a true shame that the leader of the rebel army cannot even defend his own fiefdom. Until the frightened shells of men cowering within the walls of Fort [redacted] relent, the rest of their fiefs shall meet the same fate.

“The Darkwood Manor burning circa 1868”

With an iron sense of duty the men of Rivia have dealt the Darkwood rebels a blow they would do well not to forget. Let it be known that any man who defies the righteous King Fredrick shall be dealt the same just retribution. We do not wish for further suffering to occur in this war alas until the men of Fort [redacted] relent, by the right and dignity of the sword the men of Rivia shall continue to lay waste to the petty fiefdoms and lands disregarded by the cravens who hide within their Fort of [redacted].

Ave King Fredrick I.

Long may he reign.

Signed,

His Excellency, Vice Chancellor Philip Rupert Archibald Galbraith, 2nd Viscount of Rivia

The Honourable, Baron Varon Draskovic

Lord Commander Montgomery "Pisspot" Potte the Goldbarber of Providence

Baron Drako Darkwood would read the missive hearing how his house was burned down. “I appreciate that you haven’t made any substantial victories in fights since beating mothers in Vuillermoz, but burning down an empty manor isn’t exactly a win…” He would speak to the air, knowing that he still had the blueprints for the new manor

Osmond would release a menacing grin from his face as he gripped the handle of his sheathed longsword, his pupils lit up with the reflection of the burning flames within the Darkwood's destroyed manor. He'd let out a humongous giggle.

Captain Viktor Darkwood would chuckle "And so the place burns, good, rebuilding into something greater will be a fine task in the future" he would pause for a moment "But for the galbraiths to forgo the friendship the houses have had for generations, now this is a thing to mourn, how much further is there to fall for them? That I can not even immagine"

Seraphina Darkwood would hear of the news, enraged by her home being destroyed she'd begin to paint with her best painting brushes, she'd begin to paint and apon finishing her art, she'd Stick it on the gate outside of the burning building she once called home.

The two menaces Arik and Guillaume would look at the burning manor and then depart to Vuillermoz. They would come back with blooded swords and a dead Rorislav body and loot from their manor

A dead Rorislav would be revived by the monks after having been slain in a raid that was apparently during a raid cooldown which was ignored : \

"Ah... the Empire should not trust the word of a Rivian. Deceit is introduced at infancy, merely a look on history should tell all you need to know. Well, good luck to both sides. A fine respite to rebuild the wartorn lands in the wake of the most recent war." Sigmar Baruch chuckled to himself, as he looked out over the fields below Valwyck Castle.
