Themed balls have long been a practice for rejuvenating states to present their glories to the wider world and celebrate the cultural rebirth which they have undertaken. In line with this, the Principality of Sedan wishes to host a Midnight Ball, serving as both a celebration of the harvest festivals this season, as well as an exposition of the wider culture of Sedan. This ball shall draw on traditional harvest festivities practiced by Sedanian farmers during our principality’s inception. Just as we take this time to enjoy the fruits of our harvest labors, so too are we entering the seasons of long, dark nights and the seasonal decay of the natural world.

Sedan, having finally settled in with the abruptness of their regency and secured two alliances - aims to hold a ball and other activities in celebration, her people needing to be brought together and encouraged to participate in a night of fun.

This ball will call for guests to don attire in the form of the absurd, frightening, or animalistic. Monsters, scarecrows, beasts, witches, and more, are encouraged.

The Lady Ravensburg grinned cheerfully as she began on her preparations for the upcoming festivities- excited to make her debut in the court of Sedan!

"Hah, she should have called it 'A Mask Hidden in the KNIGHT!' Hah! Get it?" Renilde laughed hard at her own joke, going as far as to slap her own knee after telling it to her husband.

Francisca Sophia's arms swung up and down out of excitement, "Ea cannot wait to dress up!" The girl expressed, twirling around in her gown.

Despite looking over the invitation, Princess Augustina, the Dowager Princess of Sedan, couldn't find an invitation for Balian or her people. After folding the invitation and putting it in her postal box, Augustina shrugged it aside.

Ivan Jaroslavich read through the invitation letter, and once finished, he began folding the letter's edges until it took the form of a paper boat. After that, he set the origami boat atop a lake, and it started its voyage across the waters.

Sviatoslav noticed a floating missive lodged within the bed of water close to the north of Almaris. With an inquisitive glimpse laid upon the paper boat, he roamed towards it grasping it with wonder and taking a look at the excellence in craftmanship. He soon let it go, dropping it back into float.
