_RoyalCrafter_ 3259 Share Posted February 23, 2023 (edited) The Coalition of Hammers Pact Preamble The Coalition of Hammers is a pact established between the dwarven Clans and polities, such as Hefrumm, of the dwedmar race. Its purpose is to safeguard dwedmar peace and unity and to strengthen Yemekar’s Balance in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan by promoting cooperation, consultation, and mutual defense among its members. The Pact is based on the principles established by the Confederation of Hammers that reunited the dwedmar race alongside Hefrumm and Kal’Bogrin: the Principles of Yemekar’s balance, free cooperation, democracy, and worship of the Brathmordakin. It welcomes all Clans and dwarven polities that are willing to abide by its articles and provides for the removal of members that do not uphold the spirit of the Coalition. The Pact also encourages the preservation and expansion of dwedmar knowledge and culture through collaboration among its members. Article 1 - Balance The Coalition members, in accordance with Yemekar’s Balance, agree to refrain in their external and internal relations from the threat or use of force, and to settle their disputes peacefully and in such a manner as will not jeopardize Yemekar’s Balance. Article 2 - Cooperation The Coalition members declare their readiness to participate in a spirit of sincere cooperation in all collective dwarven actions designed to safeguard dwedmar peace and unity, and will fully devote their energies to the attainment of this end. Article 3 - Assembly The Coalition members shall consult with one another on all important Urguan issues affecting their common interests, guided by the desire to strengthen Yemekar’s Balance, and dwedmar peace and unity. They shall immediately consult with one another whenever, in the opinion of any one of them, a threat of attack on one or more of the Clans or polities (such as Hefrumm), in order to ensure joint defense and the maintenance of peace and security. Article 4 - Democracy The Coalition members agree to protect the democratic spirit of the dwedmar race so that the dwedmar nation can be a representation of the dwedmar will, and hence the representation of the will of those chosen by Yemekar to keep his balance. Article 5 - Embers The Coalition members reinstate their agreements fleshed out under the Ember Alliance Treaty, with some modifications and exceptions to reflect the nature of this coalition: The signatories agree to a mutual defense pact with each other, only mobilizing forces or logistics when an attack is perpetrated upon one of the members of the coalition, and not if a coalition member initiates assault first. All coalition members recognize Epiphytes Dwarves as the Dwarves they are as to respect the spirit of the Hammer’s Pact Any new changes or amendments henceforth will be done under the Coalition of Hammers instead of the Ember Alliance. Article 6 - Joining All Clans and Dwarven polities are welcome to join the Coalition of Hammers if they are willing to abide by the articles enumerated within this Pact. Article 7 - Removal If over half of the members of the Coalition agree to remove a member or to not allow a dwedmar group to join then they will not be able to be in the Coalition or join it. This is to avoid false coalition members that do not believe in the spirit of the Coalition. Article 8 - Collaboration Coalition Members are to give free access to dwedmar of the coalition to access their sources of knowledge and culture. This is to allow the preservation and expansion of dwedmar knowledge. Article 9 - Brathmordakin Coalition members agree to respect the worship of the Brathmordakin in all their variations. Article 10 - Representation Should a coalition member be not represented within the current legislative / lawmaking institution of the Grand Kingdom, the Coalition agrees to organize a discussion within itself on how to ensure adequate representation. Article 11 - Amendments and Terminations The Articles of the Pact can be changed with a ⅔ majority of votes of the leaders of the Coalition Members. AfroJoeTheOlogBro 1093 Share Posted February 23, 2023 The Lord of Avarice lets out a hum as he looks upon the document, nodding his head. There were more banners to add to this coalition, two in particular he knew would wish to join.

Borin 5260 Share Posted February 24, 2023 "See, right, these Dwarf blokes do lots of internal treaties, right, but then nothing actually happens. They just get their little short stubby selves worked up over nothing... Yes I know epiphytes aren't real people, but they won't listen to wisdom!" Cardinal Viktor rambles to a visiting friar "Mmm, I know Dwarves are meant to be stone-type people living underground mining but these environmentalist ones are a bit odd."
