After-Action Report #002: The Norland Siege

Two blasts slammed into the walls, cracking it.  Glass and Thalia loaded Arbalests. Alfie and Astarte loaded a ballistae. The opposing army kept shooting and marching forward despite archery from the walls. They began ascending the walls with grappling hooks and ladders unopposed.

 

The mori returned fire onto the walls. The halfling unit that joined the effort was blown up. The enemy knights have begun scaling the walls with ladders and grappling hooks - some were killed on the way up. Some got on the walls, and were killed - others sustained their advance.

 

The Mori continue pouring out of the forests. One of the towers was blown up. Ropes and ladders were knocked down.

Three ladders extended up the wall. People began burning and knocking the Mori down. 

 

War horns blew out, and the gladiators stopped the charge. Afterwards, a giant centipede busted a hole in the wall that is currently unrepairable. 

The Gladiators retreated afterwards.

Notes

1. Alisgrad will need to implement a defense-in-depth strategy to survive the intrusion of enemy forces.
2. Information shall be relayed to Odin for proper defense.
3. Adria has supplied six cannons for the survival of Alisgrad upon Fabius’s request.
4. Without severe strategic, logistical and manpower deficiencies addressed, the guarantee of holding Alisgrad cannot be provisioned.

This would be provisioned to Norlandic authorities, Miven, and Carolus.
