The Revocation of Aldersberg

17th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1919


In recognition of the natural succession of Markus Marie Sarkozic, the son of the late Countess Austina of Aldersberg, the County of Aldersberg is hereby formally revoked from Cressida of Aldersberg and granted to Markus Marie Sarkozic. He shall formally be styled Count Markus of Aldersberg and be afforded a seat in the Adrian Duma as befitting his station. Additionally, he shall receive all rights, properties, and honors assigned to the County of Aldersberg.

 

The Duchy of Adria acts within the rights of clauses I and III of the Armistice of 1918 to administer its sworn vassals and held properties.

Markus Marie, the Son of the late Countess of Aldersberg Austina, wonders how his cousin Cressida Marie is doing. The young count determines to write a letter of invitation to her and all folk of Aldersberg, too young to know of whatever politics existed regarding the matter. He was sure to learn quickly.

A sleepy Heinrik brought himself out of bed with a grunt; accompanied by a residual amount of back pain he proceeded downstairs to fix himself a meal of Salted Crackers and Salami, all of which tasted delicious. After a few seconds of reading the news, he remarked nonchalantly “Markus will do well.” Before returning to his chambers and beginning to snore heavily.

From the skies, Austina of Aldersberg watched with blessed eyes. She had loved her second son, and although never given the chance to direct the title personally to him, was proud of the boy.
