THE TRIAL OF CHARLES THE BALD II AND THE MARTYRS OF THE RHUN

Recommended Posts

A group of men, some of them grumbling about their new task, were gathered by the freshly-shaved dwarf who was now their leader. He explained that they had been chosen to transport letters to every human, orc, and elven kingdom in the land. The men exchanged looks of disbelief and confusion, wondering why such a task was necessary but they kept their head down and still did the work for this crazy dwarf.

THE TRIAL OF THE MARTYRS OF THE RHUN

A CRUCIAL TEST FOR URGUAN

YOU ARE INVITED

Dear citizens of Alamaris,

You are cordially invited to witness an extraordinary event at the grand courts of Urguan on the next stone day at 3:30 pm (April 12, 3:30pm). DwedCorp's most accomplished lawyers will defend against the seven charges brought against the Rhun cult, all must attend !

This trial represents more than just a legal proceeding against a cult. It's a crucial test for the unity of the dwarven people, and its significance cannot be overstated.

Urguan is a place that embraces diversity, where free thinkers and believers of different magics are welcomed, and where all dwarves call home at least once in their life.

The upcoming trial will determine whether justice can still prevail in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. It's unfortunate that the Ireheart clan seems to have lost their roots, are now swayed by outside influences from the forest.

The Mossborns and Irehearts have forgotten that there is a legal system in Urguan and more dwarves than just the active ones. You cannot simply cannot control all the groups within Urguan.

Furthermore, both the Ireheart and Mossborn clans have dashed their hopes of uniting Urguan under one banner as it was in the past. Their actions have caused significant harm to the unity of the dwarven people, and they will bear the consequences of their misguided decisions.

The upcoming trial is only the beginning of a challenging journey for the dwarven kingdom. If a compromise cannot be reached before the trial, it could lead to a lose-lose situation for the kingdom.

The Ireheart clan's unlawful deeds will have dire consequences, including further legal proceedings and irreparable harm to vital alliances. If the Rhun cult loses the trial, Urguan risks losing its esteemed status as a grand kingdom, along with its precious artifacts.

Such actions may also prompt some groups to abandon Urguan, potentially rendering it as desolate as it was during the bleak era of Khron'Hundmar.

Sincerely,

Charles "The Bald" II
