fsFu2iE.pngBY THE UNWAVERING AUTHORITY OF THE STATE AND THE REPUBLICAN MANDATE BESTOWED UPON THE ILLUSTRIOUS CHAMBER OF HEIDMEN, WE HEREBY ISSUE THIS IMPERIOUS MISSIVE, RESONATING WITH THE EMINENT VIRTUES OF HONOR, DUTY, LIBERTY, FRATERNITY, VALOR, AND WISDOM. WITH THIS COMMUNICATION, WE ENLIGHTEN THY READER UPON THE INTRICACIES OF STATECRAFT AND UNVEIL THE CURRENT AFFAIRS THAT ENGAGE OUR SOVEREIGN REALM.

Regarding the Captain-General's ailments and succession,

With deep regret and a heavy heart, the Chamber of Heidmen brings to your attention the unfortunate circumstances that have afflicted our esteemed Captain-General. Recent accounts from various physicians reveal the distressing news of a rare and perplexing skin ailment that has beset him, causing not only persistent itchiness but also the appearance of distressing blisters, among other undisclosed symptoms. These afflictions have significantly undermined the Captain-General's well-being, and the gravity of the situation cannot be understated.

At present, the sole respite he finds is in reclining within a soothing bathtub, wherein the rejuvenating waters attempt to alleviate his suffering. To address this dire predicament, a multitude of skilled physicians and medical personnel have been summoned, their expertise and efforts focused diligently on unraveling the mysteries of this enigmatic malady, propelled by the personal concern and involvement of the royal family.

While there have been glimpses of hope with signs of gradual recovery, the Dukes of the League deem it necessary and judicious to take precautionary measures. With the prospect of the ailment persisting, it becomes imperative to initiate an investigation to determine and declare an heir of the League, should the affliction continue to plague the Duke of Middlelan.

In these testing times, the League of Veletz looks upon its loyal subjects to rally together, offering support, well-wishes, and prayers for the swift restoration of our revered Captain-General's health. May we unite in steadfast solidarity and navigate this trying chapter with the strength and resilience that defines our great realm.

The Duke of Adria signs the Lorraine as he prays for Johanes' recovery. "Many will damn this man, claim that he eagerly made war e was reluctant to make peace. Perhaps I should know to scorn him so more than any other, as his head diplomat. But Johanes was an honorable man, whose spirit was marred by the cruelty of war that he only fought an existential threat with his every ounce. The midlands would be weaker without him, and Adria would perhaps have faltered once more without his support. GODANI bless him," he ends, saying these words to those around him.

A decade's passage rekindled memories for the Duchess of Adria. Her mind wandered the trails of time, retracing the onset of the Berger's blight that had ensnared her, inflicting suffering on her and many Adriafolk. The Captain-General's image emerged within her recollections, marked even in their fledgling days within the Midlands. Red blisters, persistent itch—recently recounted in letters—echoed in her mind. Unease twisted her thoughts, gnawing like teeth on her cheek. Guilt loomed large; wondering if her ailment had been the harbinger of his own. Yet, the burden of her own secret weighed heavily; confessions remained unspoken.

Klara Miray prayed daily for her husband's quick recovery, offering her aid however she can in the attempt to bring him comfort. She was prone to paranoia and worry but even through her endless thoughts, she assured their children that he would be alright.

Duke Valentin and the other Dukes of the League scheduled a gathering, in which they would discuss the future of the League. Worried, the man would parade the inner courtyard of Blackvale Keep, lost in thought.

George would pray for the man, though a stranger."May God watch over him, and bring him good health." He'd sign the Lorraine in good faith
