TO THE SUBJECTS OF THE WHITE THRONE,

 

   With the abdication of His Royal Majesty, Tar-Númenatâr Foronathor, let all know that the Crown and Scepter now pass to Her Royal Majesty, Tar-Caraneth Aryantë, and with that so too passes lordship over the Númenaranyë and its holdings. Accordingly, there shall be a crowning ceremony held in the coming Saint’s Days, where the Oath of Tar-Númenatâr shall be sworn anew, and the passage of power be confirmed before the eyes of Man and GOD Almighty alike. 

 

As Her Royal Majesty’s first acts as Queen of Númendil, the following are by her authority decreed:

 

   Firstly, with this passage we as a people must also extend our most profound gratitude to His Majesty, who for the better part of a century has served as mentor, father, protector and finally King, for without his guiding hand there would be no Númendil. Thus, it is decreed that our now-former King shall be granted the title Lord-Father of Númendil, to be his alone until such time as his time on this earth has passed, may that day yet be far ahead of us.

 

   Secondly, with a change of leadership comes a change in structure. Accordingly, Her Majesty shall be reexamining and reforming the White Court so that it might serve her rule and her people as effectively and as efficiently as is possible.

 

   Thirdly, the Crown hereby gives the Royal Bank of Númendil dispensation to oversee the chartering, establishment, and management of the Kingdom’s guilds, be they guilds of artisans, merchants, laborers or otherwise.

 

   Fourthly, as it is Her Majesty’s opinion that a society requires recreation and the arts to give rise to greater achievement, the Crown shall fund a series of efforts to this end, including the establishment of a public library and the construction of a theatre.

With the publication of this missive, delivered with the weight of royal authority and the grace of a new era for our kingdom, The Lord and Lady of Caladras, Ser Elerríon and Ser Cálienë of House Seregon, wish to commemorate the passing of the Crown and Scepter into your capable hands, by reiterating the pledge of unwavering support and loyalty to your Royal House that ours had given many years back.

 

Firstly, we join our voice with those of our people in expressing profound gratitude to His Grace, Tar-Númenatâr Foronathor. His guidance and leadership have shaped Númendil into the realm it is today. Granting him the title of Lord-Father of Númendil is a fitting tribute to his decades of devoted service, and we stand in full support of this decree.

 

Secondly, your decree and commitment to reevaluate and reform the White Court to better serve our kingdom is a choice fully supported by the Lord and Lady whom both have held positions in your father’s Court. This endeavor reflects your dedication to the welfare of our people, and we have no doubt that these reforms will usher in an era of greater efficiency and prosperity. For what our loyalty and roles have been to the White Court, we both stand ready to continue or resign from our current positions as you see fit.

 

Lastly, your dedication to the arts and recreation is both admirable and forward-thinking. The establishment of a public library and the construction of a theatre will enrich our culture and inspire creativity among our citizens. We are eager to witness these endeavors come to fruition and both fully extend our resources and faculties to seeing this point carried out.

 

As your loyal subjects and Lord and Lady of Caladras, we reiterate our House’s  pledge to support your reign and to the fulfillment of your vision for our kingdom. Together, may we continue to guide Númendil toward a bright and prosperous future.
