After consideration at the behest of the Colborn Council and its Chair, Matriarch Anabel Elia Colborn, a new successor of House Colborn has been selected. Unfortunately for the Scyfling House, its previously-chosen heir; Lord Nikolai Adrian Cedrik Colborn, has found himself unable to fulfill the duties allocated to the Heir or Head of Household. As is the chosen succession pathway of the Comital House of Colborn, the Matriarch is at liberty to select her heir from among the Housewide pool of potential candidates, however she also may request the wisdom of her Council in making her decision. As such, the wizened Colborn Council has made the decision to appoint young and promising Lord Cassian Alarik Colborn as the Heir of House Colborn, future Count of Malkovya and Protector of Scyflings. In the meantime, Countess Anabel shall continue to carry out her role as the Matriarch, and will train the young Heir in preparation for his ascension to Peership once he becomes of age.
