NOW HAVING BEEN OVER 52 YEARS SINCE THE PASSING OF ARCHDUKE PAUL ‘FAIRWEATHER’ SALVIAN, the Commonwealth of the Petra shall celebrate the GOLDEN JUBILEE of Queen Renilde I of the Petra to commemorate her Saint’s Year upon the Throne of Garmont – the longest reign of any human monarch in history – all of which shall be hosted by Her Majesty’s River Court. A long and steadfast reign, the Commonwealth has undergone a multitude of phases under the oversight of Renilde I. Beginning as the Archduchess at just age sixteen with the Commonwealth falling into her hands after her father’s untimely death, she eventually was elevated to Queen of the Petra after many decades of diligent and unwavering commitment to her father’s life work, making it a reality that will carry on long after she is gone. The Commonwealth has truly metamorphosed over these venturesome 52 years of learning about her people and how to best serve their needs.

LE GAUNTE FESTON (c. The Golden Feast)

[Friday the 20th at 6:30pm EST]

A feast that will host all of those Merry Petrans and their Allies, to be attended by the Queen and members of the Royal Family of the Petra. There are rumored to have been the slaughter of many pheasants for what is to be the state dinner of the decade, and numerous vineyards harvested for the fine amounts of wine and spirits to be served on this most glorious night of celebration.

 

LE COURTEIS JOSTYR - 200 Mina Prize (c. The Royal Joust)

[Sunday the 22nd at 4pm EST] 

There will be a joust within the new tournament grounds through the East Gate of Vallagne, thoroughbred steeds will be provided for no fee, too shall lances for those that are unable to bring their own.

 

LE TOURNOY DE VALLAGNE - 200 Mina Prize (c. The Tournament of Vallagne)

[Sunday the 22nd at 5pm EST]

A partners tournament, there will be multiple groups of two men or women that shall competitively brawl for the honor of being named Champions of Vallagne.

 

BALLARY COURTEIS DE TISSAN (c. The Royal Ball of the Decade) 

[Monday the 23rd at 6:30pm EST]

The focus of this grand Royal Ball shall be the passing of one full Saint’s Year since the Queen’s taking office on the Throne of Garmont. Like all of the other River Court festivities, all are invited to this event that will be hosted in the Royal Palace.

Sir Laurens 'the Unwavering' Halcourt rolled his shoulders as the missive came into his grasp. "Fifty years is a long time," commented idly he, writing a letter to his friend Renilde in congratulations. @tilly

 

The young Charles Edward Temesch looked to his brothers and offered them a thumbs-up at the announcement of their cousins fiftieth year. His younger sister Marilyn was not present, but he sent a loyal member of the household staff to fetch her to show her the news.
