BY THE WORD OF KNIGHT COMMANDER SIR AIMO “THE ECCENTRIC, TONGUE TAKER” OF ASTOR,

Lord Adrian Godfrey Temesch, when one takes up the mantle of high government within the Commonweath of the Petra they must be held to the utmost standard of our laws. Indeed, it is the duty of every Petran as per Part Two, Article Five, Section One, Point Five of the Catherinian Code to uphold one’s honor and integrity. Instead, with this transcript which has been published the last saint’s day we have seen the reverse of such. For it completely fabricates the end of the Garmont itself. Not only did the Garmont not end with my talk of making the Petran Trout a point of national pride and thus our Commonwealth’s fish get voted on, but said matter was passed in a vote. Furthermore, you also cut from the transcript the ever needed request by our new head of the Ausecan Corps for men and women from the Commonwealth. This all is not only my own word at what happened but also that of High Steward Sir Artel.

I make this missive aimed towards you since despite being blind, even the blind ought to be honest and resolute in their honor. You scorn not only me by your signature being at the top of those present and thus a tacit approval of the dishonesty but also that of the Prince Consort, who has taken on the monumental task of trying to recover the guard and Ausecan Corps from years of malaise. As of this missive I offer the following as ways forwards, what you pick is your own doing.

1. A duel of honor, with the term of if I am victorious the removed parts of the transcript will be restored, even those which have been redacted to stop the signs of your own hand in certain matters.

2. Merely the transcript of the second half of the Garmont can be issued out, the actual contents of such being that of the true results of the talk of the Petran Trout and the call for recruits by the Prince Consort.

When there were issues within the purview of my own station I took action to address such. I am not an unfair man though, should you choose to take the duel, you may choose the way in which it is carried out, not merely a clash of swords. You may be blind but you ought to be able to see the gross violation of integrity and honor which must be corrected.

FIRMLY COMMITTED TO SEEING OUT THE UPHOLDING OF HONOR AND INTEGRITY,

Sir Aimo “The Eccentric, Tongue Taker” of Astor, Knight Commander of the Petrine Laurel

"Sir Aimo the Bold.." Konstantin repeated quietly as he read over a copy of the missive. This phrase was becoming an increasingly common part of his vocabulary these days.

August of Abrana scanned the Knight Commander's challenge to the Orateur with a wide grin, pleasantly surprised at Sir Aimo's boldness. "I can't help but agree in spirit. I can understand why the Field Trip was redacted. As for my request for men, it is a plain truth." The Prince-Consort commented to an Ausecan officer within the Red Bastion before continuing on with his day.

Cosima received the missive by courier, which was delivered to their house and addressed to her father.

"Pa, you have a letter," the young girl stated as she took it to the table, where her father sat.. still blinded.

She then sat down besides him, and read the letter aloud as best she could. @Kaii

Adrian Godfrey Temesch, The Count of Martiel, listened to the letter as his oldest daughter read it to him. To say the Count was furious would be a drastic understatement. “That bastard brute did WHAT?” Adrian shouted in response. “I hope GOD will forgive Aimo for his transgressions, as I will never forgive or forget.“ Adrian took a deep breath, while he was a forgiving man, this would not be forgotten anytime soon. “Cosima, please find me your mother. Her and I have a lot of work to do.” ‘Hopefully when I am finished with him, his name will be expunged from Petran History' he thought to himself as he begun planning his formal response to the Knight.

An Astoran teenager descends from her room at the start of her day, rubbing the grit of sleep from her eyes. She sets down at the kitchen table, pulling one of the papers strewn about on its surface to read it. She liked to keep up with the news, if she could. . . Then she pauses, staring down at the document for a time. There a soft utterance of  . . . "Vafae?" before she reads it a few times over as she eats her breakfast.

"A blind man denies the truth because he cannot see it before him, but I didn't realize there was a chance this man was made deaf, as well. Maybe if they get him eyes like Uncle Konstantin, he'll not make a mis-step like this again. . . I should ask fadhir and Uncle Artel more about this later - I wonder what else this blind man might have left out."

Sitting at his desk while doing his usually nightly paperwork, Wilford Reinhold squints as he reads over the missive. The knight lifts his glasses and brings the paper closer to his face, expression scrunched in confusion as he lowers it. “O’er trout?”
