i won't just do that, but participating or even dying in certain events gives you an auto reset

Aren't people going to be able to change races when the map comes out again, thats what I have heard.

Well if your loyal to dwarves then we will become a dwarf anyways, that shouldnt be counted as a problem at all!

Credit Lukas with this idea:

He suggested that since we shouldn't be above ground that much, we should have a gigantic sea underground, or at least a very large lake. This lake could connect to a possible sewer system, as well as allow us to have a small fishing village on the lake. We could have small boats as well in this lake area, and it would be quite interesting.

And it could lead out of mountain into civilization, if trade was necessary? And, we could have that as only entry.

Looks like you guys are doing an excellent job and have an over-abundance of ideas. Is there going to be a religious sector. Like the Masons or something that worship the stone itself. Large temple would be awesome and only skilled architects/ builders would be invited. Like a super secret dwarf club lol.

This reminds me of Gollum's lake from the Hobbit. This is COMPLETELY OOC, letter and spirit, but maybe there could be a colony of Orcs on the other side of the lake.

And I also like the idea of a Masons religion.

we will have a religious place indeed, but their has been uncertainty over what dwarves worship, also we may add a secret room for a more intense religious group ( such as masons maybe)

I just hope that the waterworks does not have a lot of flowing water causing the city to lag much like Al'khazar does on the current map.

Sounds good, it always annoyed me that the dwarves live mostly on the surface on LoTC. There should be places where dwarves can build into the walls though, or those dwarves wanting to build will build elsewhere, making the city become underpopulated like the current Kal'Urguan.

As for what the 'curse' the dwarves have to fight is, do you have an idea for what it is? I had a thought: the dwarves on the current world have discovered golem creation, maybe the dwarves in the new continent also discovered it, and went too far with it? Destroyed by their own creation, which now dwell in the caves and tunnels in and around the dwarven kingdom.

Alternatively, it could be an artifact the dwarves found that affected them, driving them to worship it and wipe each other out fighting to claim it. Then the arriving dwarves from Aegis find it, and it starts all over again...

I don't like the Void idea, because when you fall in you see the bottom of the map. A bedrock lava pit maybe, but I have my doubts about open void.

Are you talking about snow golems? Because that would be really entertaining.
