Today, we call for action; instead of allowing the snake to endlessly wind the same path, it is time the hounds are sent out and the serpent’s head is bitten off. The men of Ravenmire, including myself, have endured enough during this time of inaction. Our cities were raided, our men ruthlessly killed, and our leaders were personally attacked by the Alstionite shallowbloods. Despite this, we still sued for peace under the eyes of GOD - before the eyes of all the Princes of Humanity. A peace we accomplished, as one, defined in the treaty of Minas Aranath. Today we have received word that this peace was easier said than done, and an Alstion has an easier time signing an agreement than abiding by it. In the treaty of Minas Aranath, which was agreed upon by all nations of canon, the terms of peace were discussed. It was specified that this treaty was to come into effect immediately. We abided by this PEACE BY FAITH religiously, vowing to halt our victory march to Whitespire - and so we did. Yet not everyone’s signature seems to carry action alongside ink. One of the terms of the treaty speaks of certain territories being granted to the Holy Mother Church, specifically those of Lemonhill and Stassion. Today this was contested again, despite the agreement bearing fickle-proven, Alstionite ink. Once more proving that Aunnite mannerisms do not die with the kinslayer. This is not the end, the specific term that this whole peace rests upon, has also not yet been fulfilled, despite the treaty stipulating that it is to come in effect IMMEDIATELY. For five months now have those who still dwell around Whitespire like headless chickens been unable to make way for The Holy Mother Church to take the wheel of their sinking ship. One must not make a joke out of our peace, us abiding by it is not a sign of weakness - we simply believe a signature is more than a collection of swirls and curves, it is a promise. The peace-agreement does not contain many terms, yet you refuse to abide by any of them. We’d like to refer to a part of the treaty: “The peace shall be mandated by the church of the True Faith and assured by their protection for 10 years. If during the duration of this enforced peace, Aaun or Ravenmire engage in hostilities or violate the terms of the treaty, the aggressor may face a just war.” Seeing as you have been eagerly violating most terms of a treaty that was meant to take into effect immediately, it is determined you must crave a just war. You cling onto the rotten walls of a palace in which your uncle’s body was found rotting. You make a mockery of all those who spent hours in the halls of House Arthalionath, wasting their time for your sake. You were given chance after chance to make things right, and not once did you care to sue for anything but war. This is not the peace Ravenmire was promised, this is all a fraud to delay a war. Aaun is merely buying time to further their rodent schemes, instead of aiming for permanent peace. No more will our generosity be made a mockery off, no more chances will be given. You know what to do, declare your cooperation with the HOLY MOTHER CHURCH or begin barricading your tunnels.
