An Attack against Celia’nor

The Conspiracy

Caught before the plot could be enacted a cult of frostwitch, inferi and necromancers sought to see the downfall of Celia’nor through political machinations. As a result of a woman presumably of their own rankings coming forwards and providing an anonymous note (in the hopes of gaining riches), the following information was revealed before their plot can reach fruition; in brief, attempting to link councilwoman and noble Lady Yera, with Xionists, Arthur and the Dunwen. Lady Yera has no affiliation with any of these groups and has come forward with uncovered knowledge of this plot ahead of time so that it can be seen for what it actually is before they attempt to spread this misinformation. It should be noted, that the informant detailed that the darkspawn group spreading this misinformation will specifically be targeting the heads of nations and important political figures, and that she hopes the Canonists and neighbouring kingdoms take this threat seriously.

Who are they?

Attacking and plotting against Celia’nor; A group of frostwitch, inferi and necromancers stationed upon the snow covered island of the north, remnants of the lich king Gashadokuro’s forces. Seeking to spread misinformation and attack political figures in Aevos.

The informant, presumably one of their ranks who offered the information in an attempt to get rich, expressed to us what she had come across via letter.

“They wish to try and forge a link between Lady Yera, xionists, Arthur and dunwen all together in an attempt to make them seem like they’re all darkspawn and working in the shadows. The overall goal of them is to destabilise the Celianorian government. With the use of a necrotic crystal at some point too.”

Whilst not situated in Celia’nor, one of this groups agents allegedly makes their way into various places in order to enact their plans, describes thusly:

“A black haired Oyashi-looking elven woman with red eye shadow. She wears a greenish blue cloak with a cream coloured set of garments with faint yellow highlights. Her hair is often in a bun, its colour the same cream greenish blue and red as her clothes and makeup. She also has a small pin of red and white in her hair.”

She then informed us that they intend to take proof of the leaders of nations demise and further plot against other nations in a similar manner. One posits that this will be to demoralise and disrupt across the continent.

The truth of the matter…

Celia’nor holds an aggressive anti-darkspawn policy. Lady Yera subjects herself and others amongst her people to frequent darkspawn tests and searches for grimoires etcetera, and Arthur Burke who she is accused of colluding with was banished by her hand from Celia’nor a decade ago. Her attention is fully on the betterment and enrichment of Celia’nor as a whole, and has no agenda outside of this act at this time. Darkspawn of all kinds are unwelcome here, including Xionists. Remain in your holes.

"Quaint." A musing from an observing cat,

"I suppose the secret meetings with the Crow-demon were incidental, not signalling sympathy to the dark."

"THAT'S MY GIRL!" A Oyashiman Hag cheered for her favorite oyashiman frost witch as she had been mentioned. A proud gesture of pointing a finger upon the missive issued. "They grow up so fast!"

"Mortal kind and its kingdoms are a stagnate beast that labour for breathe, and have for centuries. Liberation, something new must rise." Spoke a fiend.

"A people and it's culture, achieve definition in conflict, they find themselves or find themselves lacking. "

"When was the last time we spoke of Celia'nor?" Spoke an arm of the hells.

[OOC]

Spoiler

Before the meta game accusations get slung around I've intentionally made paper trails, left evidence, made people log on to meet in person, done reckless things, etc. There are many potential snitches and notes that could have been found. I want to afford the opportunity of success and I'm proud that someone's made progress.

Oh if there's any concern about meta. Feel free to make a modreq. I had the rp happen in-game, and I screenshotted it just encase the server crashing a bajillion times fudged up the logs. But you're entitled to your own piece of mind.

"....Mhm."

Sydney nods, not really buying it. He hasn't bought anything of this sort since he tracked Sermi to Celia'nor over a decade ago.

But whatever, it's fine, this is fine. So long as his family isn't dragged into this.

Naele read the missive with confusion, before tossing it over towards her witches that sat beside her.

“Yes, yes, Yera is innocent indeed. Not a single drop of darkspawn support in her being. The many meetings with the Liches were only to insult them. What a hero.”

Yera felt gratified as appreciation and innocence was lathered over her for her heroic deeds unbeknownst to her.

A Witch finds the written words comical, and she'd words of wisdom to share to Naele..

A Zezimar eagerly holds a copy of the missive within its claws as it recovers - awaiting the dastardly sacrifice of a newborn to the Spirits that will alter the text before its very eyes.

Such vile offerings in the defense of one's identity are always appreciated by the Lords, it knows.

“Tck, they never learn” The arch prelate bit her bottom lip in thought, tapping her metallic fingers against her desk as she observed her First Abbess’ work. “Perhaps we’ve been too light of hand upon these cretins. We’ve allowed them to simply fester, now they think they can beg canondom into serving Darkspawn? If I were Fleeperus, I would be insulted by these creatures dare imagining they were capable of manipulating him. Perhaps it’s time I have a word with him. Him and I do share a passion for burning crusades.” She noted with a pleasant hum, summoning her scribe to prepare a letter
