A RESPONSE TO NAYSAY

Penned in the Year of our LORD 1996

‘O Faithful Flock to the LORD in the Highest of the Skies,

 

It has become apparent with a recent missive, published by one Holy Ser Lucien ( @framalam), that the subject of my denomination has been put to question, leading to the misunderstanding that I still remain an Owynist while listening to the words of the Holy Book of Auspice; which, according to the Owynist Rite, would make me a hypocrite.

 

HARK! I shall make it ever clear that I have returned to the adherence of the traditionalist values of the Church by which I was born into and taught by my late mother and father, may their souls rest within the Second Sky.

With these values given to me, I do not keep the Holy Book of Auspice out of my continued studies as a lay member of the flock of the Holy Mother Church. 

Alongside this, I fear the Holy Ser has promoted me as a racist towards the sons and daughters of Brother Malin and Brother Krug.

 

‘Lo! For you have no evidence of my apparent racism against our Brothers and you are unknowing of my history. 

I have been a soldier for many years and I see myself now as only a Soldier of the LORD ALMIGHTY, the TRUE EMPEROR OF MAN. During my time as a soldier of lords, I have been a brother-in-arms to Elves and Orcs alike, even now I discuss many a topic with one of my closest compatriots, yet he too does not share the blood of Father Horen with me.

HARK! I do not rebuke Humanity nor the Elf, Orc, Dwarf, or Halfling, for all are to be judged by the LORD ALMIGHTY. Your evidence of misanthropy and racism are baseless and simply an attack upon my character. As a holy knight, it is not honorable or chivalrous to place a label upon anyone without just cause or evidence of such. FOR SHAME, HOLY SER!

 

As for the nature of your birth, Ser Lucien, I do not judge the moral wealth of Descendantkind, as I too was nay born of status, in fact I lived as a street urchin for my early adulthood, only managing to earn enough mina to feed myself and put clothes on my back! I know how it feels to live impoverished. However, I look at the spiritual wealth of Descendantkind that the GOD-EMPEROR too judges.

BEHOLD! I look to the soul and see a man deceived and spiritually vulnerable, many, such as you, live vicariously through the actions of Raguel The Pretender, for you do not carry the level of magic he does.

You speak of cold wings that warm the soul like flame? You are spiritually blind to the evidence found in the Holy Book of Auspice, for this I will bring this verse to the forefront once more:

 

“And Vargengotz calls forth three deceivers in the guise of messengers, with wings of cold fire. They are called Justice, Glory, and Reward.”

- Auspice 1:9-10

 

Your very words have only enforced the coming auspice that many Canonists are waking up and seeing as blinding scales fall from their eyes.

 

‘LO! For was it not the Fallen Saul, guised as Father Horen, who brought iniquity and death into the Holy Camp of Horen? Why wouldn’t an agent of THE DECEIVER or THE DECEIVER HIMSELF once more to bring iniquity into the Camp, especially in a time when the Tribe finds itself divided?

 

“…a man called Saul, had ignored the warning of Julia and left the camp. He wandered into the iniquity which Iblees wrought and coveted the gold and sweet food, and he spoke at length with the Denier.

Iblees was cunning and guised Saul with the appearance of Horen, and sent him into the camp of his folk with a message.

HARK! THE DECEIVER has transfigured the fallen to look like holy figures before, as written even in our most Holy Scrolls, would it not be far-fetched to believe the Most Fell of Beasts would again trick the Tribe of Father Horen this way? Why wouldn’t THE DENIER guise one of his minions to appear like an Angel, one of our most holy symbols?

 

BEHOLD, MINE BRETHREN! For you have grown blinding scales over your eyes as part of your ignorance to the GOD-EMPEROR’s full Word, as brought to us by ALL of our Exalted Prophets.

 

For as Exalted Horen the Father gave us the Holy Book of Virtue from THE ALMIGHTY, we must learn

 

For as Exalted Owyn the Purifier gave us the Holy Book of Spirit from THE ALMIGHTY, we must learn

 

For as Exalted Godfrey the Redeemer gave us the Holy Book of Gospel from THE ALMIGHTY, we must learn

 

For as Exalted Sigismund the Preserver gave us the Holy Book of Auspice from THE ALMIGHTY, we must learn

 

It is not the will of Pretender Angels that we serve, we serve the Will of the LORD OF LORDS, the TRUE EMPEROR OF MAN! 

 

‘LO! GO FORTH, MEN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND COURAGE! GO FORTH AND SHINE LIGHT ON THE PRETENDER! FOR YOU SOUL HOLDS THE WHITE FLAME OF THE ALMIGHTY THAT GUIDED EXALTED OWYN!

YOUR SOUL HOLDS HUMILITY, TAUGHT BY EXALTED HOREN, THAT YOU ARE NOT THE ONE IN CONTROL OF THIS WORLD, ONLY THE GOD-EMPEROR WEARS THE HOLIEST OF CROWNS UPON HIS HEAD!

YOUR SOUL YEARNS FOR THE GLORY AND JUSTICE BROUGHT BY EXALTED GODFREY TO BRING THE GLORY OF THE ALMIGHTY AND HIS JUSTICE TO THE FELL DARK OF THIS WORLD!

YOUR MINDS ARE BLESSED WITH THE WISDOM OF EXALTED SIGISMUND WHO FORESAW THE COMING AUSPICE AS HE STARED INTO THE GLORY VISAGE OF THE MOST HOLY!

 

GO FORTH AND BRING THE WILL OF THE GOD-EMPEROR ONTO THE FALLEN!

CLOSING PRAYER

SAINT EDMOND, model of all Knights, possess me not with fear; grant me peace and strength in the hour of battle. Pray for me, let the GOD-EMPEROR help my faults and nurture mine potential. 

I swear to come through this day with courage, striving to embody the honor that thou didst: Through mine actions I shall show clemency to the prisoner, give succor to the widow and spare the peasant.
