The Hyspian Monarch signed the Lorraine, as she arrived late back upon her office, and read the latest delivered missive. This showed just how fast circumstances could change, and she prayed for the ex-Silasian refugees.

Narithen Uialben barely had time to look up from where he was moving ships out of his harbour and ensuring that the defences of Lurin weren't compromised by a single lantern to read the missive.

"...Hells I thought it'd be the damn Halflings fi- Alright everyone, change of plans! Has anyone seen where we left those punji sticks?!" He shouts, getting back to work.

Mercenary Kato Ena smokes on a cigarette as the Iron Lady's warband traversed through the cool desert night enroute to unite with their Numenedain contractors. News of the Siliasian surrender came late to the retinue as it approached the marble gates of Numenost and Ena discreetly pulls out his wallet to look upon his pocket portrait of Hana Song. How he yearned to be noticed by the Salamduelian Smogger pilot across the sea.

"Hana Song, pray for me - and we'll find each other in the great ripple of the world... it's almost over," He puts a finger on the picture. His life was uncertain, but his love and commitment were.

"Evil flourishes only when good men refuse to do their duty. Raguel and his project will NOT succeed, with GOD as my witness." Ser Philip says from a faraway island off the shores of Aevos. He then goes back to drafting plans to train the next generation of GOD's holy knights - the resistance.

Officer Grudgebeard muses to himself upon hearing the news, ensconced within Urguan. He recalls a proverb:

"Lose beards to save the mountain, mountain and beards are both lost; lose the mountain to save beards, the mountain can be retaken."

He ponders the direction of warfare, and the movements of the descendants; he takes his pen and continues writing letters to varying parties.

A man clad in black armor, The Dawnservant, would look over the missive and give a sigh “Why must our brothers and sisters cower away and leave the lands to these imperial oppressors? This is no Crusade in the name of GOD, this a Crusade orchestrated by and in the name of the Pretender and the Heretic, but I still pray that the Eastern Nations hold the line against this Heresy…” He spoke as he look out east, the expanse of water in his view towards Silasia’s former territory “Bringing back the Light of GOD to the misguided flock is imperative… GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY!

Norido would pick up the missive, near the side of a road, whilst on his mining duty. "This is not good, really not good, I wonder what's going to unfold next." He'd comment briefly after skimming through the missive; before continuing with his duties, leaving the note behind.

OOC: I'm sad to see the city go, but excited to see what comes next. Thank you for hosting me for the short while you did!
