A clique? Honestly like 50% of spook rpers are a pretty good clique. Because its not REALLY a clique and is easy to join as an outsider and surprisingly new player friendly. Inferi/Naz rn are my favorite

My experience with certain undead players has been solid as well. I didn't join them but they do attempt to pull just about anyone that's cool w/ roleplay into their circle when the roleplay calls for murder, instead of just killing and being done w/ someone; they always like to keep stories going in some way

Im sober now but I'll still answer

Any time I heard of something broken related to Izkuthii it was the fault of the players playing them, as opposed to the lore itself. Lotc story team has however, ever since flamboyant era continuing into now, been always keen to shoot the magic as opposed to the players who power gamed it

That developed such a visceral hatred to it that the rewrite wasn't even properly read and the notes about denial had nothing to do with the piece itself. Izkuthi were basically told the lore would be shot no matter if the new rewrite was made from gods hand and flawless in every way.

Basically perception is reality and there was nothing doable to beat its stigma

What do you RP now?
Will you make a wizard to be apart of The Mages Guild?

Can we bring Lefkos back as a Draugar?

Right now, Lefkos' son! Just a wizard who's still pure and learning about the world, and spends all day every day helping people. And not the self serving "helping/saving people!" crap - like physically rolling up his sleeves and doing errands for people, from crafting to digging things up and anything he's asked

He was a necromancer when he died! But alas, he died in the Abyss. Convince mordring to pull some strings(I highly doubt thats plausible) and I'd be down to clown even if its for the duration of an event or smthn

  • As a Lich, I was a 14-15 year old child. At the time the huge power fantasy of finally being able to stand toe to toe with Tahmas in a roleplay fight. In hindsight as an adult nigh ten years later, I was probably HAPPIEST when he self-buried himself in an ancient library, existing only as a talking corpse that taught people magic.
  • As a Paladin, Northgate was pretty rad. Just having a castle-town where we marched out of to murder undead was pretty cool.
  • As a Wizard after, I loved a lot of my mountain-top teacher roleplay in the dwarves.
  • Bonus answer, as a Necromancer I loved [redacted] because I died within 3 weeks

I think my absolute favorite lotc memory was when an ST member asked our group of 6 "do any of you have any illnesses" because their character could tell those things, and Booklight12, Mr Beranabus Seregon, instantly clapped back microseconds later with "Beranabus has aids" before most could event finish processing the initial question. It sort of embodied the **** around and have fun attitude at the time.

Most EPIC moment that I was around for would have been the Johannesburg explosion, and witnessing the fundamental changes that happened to the server from it. My PERSONAL most epic experience from my perspective of myself was the roleplay in which the return to Athera was planned and we laid out the groundwork for slaying Gudour, planning how we would get there etc. I hear that it led to a lot of things to do with the pantheon changes following, though I don't know the actual know-how of how that would be, but I think it's pretty neat. Means something my character did actually left an impact somewhere.

Fun stories that I ran? My shade, he was a murderer. An unforgivable sinner with an agenda that he stuck to. He had rules on who he killed, and why he would kill them, and stuck to it. The thing that makes evil characters truly diabolical? Charismatic, with the capacity to betray. He would befriend his targets, then trick them into being alone. He, and his gang of 3 others, would get the jump on them. But not in a toxic "hah gotchu" way - The buildup was slow, the target was made absolutely clear in-character of how their own actions led to their death, and how their death would better the world. This led to a few notable PK's, specifically from people I truly did not expect to PK for any reason ever. Mystery, The_Tri, and like one other dude I cant recall off the top of my head. It was made very enjoyable by the fact that we had a gang of 4 in total, tight nit close friends who roleplayed together constantly. Dedication to the grind all around.
