I have played this server since 2015. We are still a few months off, but I figure now is as good a time as any.

Ask away!

(P.S. Pardon some of the typos, I'm dyslexic.)

I appreciate each of you for different reasons, but I will be honest when I say @MapleSunflower takes first preference.

Good question! I would say probably the most defining moment I had on LotC, in terms of how it changed how I looked at roleplay, was playing a bastard of the House of Kovachev and rising through the ranks to attain legitimacy. Beforehand, I mostly played your typical bannermen and soldiers, but Viktor Barrow had a wonderful journey that few of my personas since can claim to have had.

It really showed me how you could craft amazing narratives when you open your mind to the adventure.

worst regret from lotc?

Honestly, my greatest regret is taking this place too seriously at times. My worst moments have largely stemmed from an inability to disconnect myself from the narrative. It's easy at first to say this is all a work of fiction, and so we can't afford to get bogged down in weird sentiments or competitive mindsets. But when it comes down to it, when you're passionate about something, you often leave a piece of yourself behind. For better or for worse, there's often a gnawing in the back of your head that compels you to latch on for as long and hard as you can.

This compulsion has contributed to my passion for many of my personas and experiences, undoubtedly. Yet, it has also pushed people away and turned what was meant to be a game upside down, where it then becomes unhealthy. I wish I could take many of those moments back at times. Although, I also think if I hadn't learned from said experiences, who would I be instead? Sometimes we make mistakes for a reason.

Top Three Personas:
- Alberic du Lac, Paladin of Xan
- Viktor Barrow (Kovachev), the Bastard of Carnatia
- William Worix, Gold Corps Officer

You're definitely among my favourite people!

I'm not sure if you're looking for a specific answer, so forgive me if I get this wrong. My favourite memory of our friendship would probably be having a person to lean on. You've always been someone I could vent to, and willing to hear me out.

I also really enjoyed, back when I played Rickard Vientos, serving in somewhat of a mentor and adopted father role to Victoria's daughter. It was genuinely nice roleplay which allowed me to build something solid upon Rickard as a character, who was quite a mess in hindsight, personality and direction wise.

This is a difficult one, because then you start to hypothesise about how things could be done differently. I think I miss many of my characters, and I often look back on my younger years and consider what I could have done differently. Nonetheless, if there's one I miss more than the others, and whose death I felt more than the others, it would have to be Alberic. To have another chance at playing him - an idealistic but deeply flawed hedge knight - would make my day.

Okok for real this time:

What was your favorite moment on LoTC?

What would you say is your favorite memory made throughout the time we've been friends/have rp'd together?

This question is difficult, because I don't know if I can reliably give you an all-time favourite moment, which stands out above all else. If I had to choose, however, I would probably go with a collective of memories. I took a year out from the server and only came back per the insistence of one @Eddywilson2, back in 2022. Although, I quickly found my love for the game again, especially when I really got underway with Alberic's journey.

The massive CRP battles we had against the Mori'Quessir, within the underbelly of Almaris, was an awesome experience for me and for the character. So much happened to him within a short span of time. He was knighted at 17, he was chosen as an initiate by a reclusive group of Paladins, he lost an arm fighting a dreadknight twice his size! Alberic even rode a damned giant locust, landed on a wall completely cut off from the rest of his party, saved a dwarf hanging on to a ledge for dear life, and then the pair of them manned a giant cannon and blew the head off a tower-sized centipede.

My God, I loved that experience as a whole!

As for our favourite moment as friends and the roleplay we've had together, I would say when I first met you, when Alberic began to reconnect with the family whom he was distant with for so long, it was nice for him to bond with both Adrian Temesch, particularly after that fight on the wall, and Aurelius as well. I just wish I could have mentored him properly.

My questions dont need to be about rp or the server, but I intended them to be within the context of that 10 year timeframe from start of your server experience until now! ☺️

How do you feel you have grown and/or changed as a person?

What is your most proud accomplishment?

New question:
Evar'lae or Patrocleia, who'd you pick to fight with you in an apocalypse? also where did John II come from, like how did you come across playing him if I may ask?
