[✗] [Amendment - Artificery] Creation

Hello! after a few yap sessions with artificers, the feat feels a bit lack luster, and showing it's age, so I propose this small change that will make artificers FEEL like they are better at imbuing mana and voidal influence into reality, than the random mage whos never laid mana before.

Old Lore

Spoiler

[Passive] [Noncombat] - Creation

The mind of an artificer is enigmatic- filled with jovial ideas of creation and destruction, to create things which behave oddly, practically, harmfully - The Voidal Artificer would find themselves thinking more creatively of physical and mechanical solutions, and able to meld magic within those solutions for an excellent outcome.

A Voidal Artificer, with a prerequisite understanding of Transfiguration, is capable of creating much more wondrous things - Allowing for much more easy creation of MArts melding The Void and practical mechanics. Alongside this, Enchantment becomes significantly easier upon a magi- not tolling them nearly to the extent it normally would..

Redlines

-Creation does not modify one's daily-enchanting-limit, still capped at 3 signed items per day, 3 potent encahants or 1 grand enchantment.

Alongside this, Enchantment becomes significantly easier upon a magi- not tolling them nearly to the extent it normally would.. In addition, the Artificer recovers from mana exhausting rituals, such as Obelisk creation, Arcanium forging, and Yisar creation rituals, twice as fast as regular mages

Redlines

-Creation does not modify one's daily-enchanting-limit, still capped at 3 signed items per day, 3 potent enchants or 1 grand enchantment.
-Artificers are more effcient with their mana during creation rituals, allowing them to cast again after half the time of it would take the average mage to recover from. However they still can NOT assist in a second ritual within the full duration. Doing so will overwhelm the body, in line with Thaumburn

-ST signed enchants are too stressful on the body, meaning any enchanting that requires an ST signature can not be done until the full period has passed, not when casting returns.

Purpose

Artificers already give up combative power to create fun items, they shouldn't be locked out of all their lore and magics for the same length as a scion, who for all intents and purposes, get power and give up almost nothing when compared to a normal knight. I think this amendment will encourage more people to make artificer characters over the more combat focused feats.

Artificers definitely need some love so thank you for giving it a shot. Think these suggestions are already pretty good.

I had flirted with the idea of suggesting artificers are allowed to take transfig using only one magic slot.

Love it. Would make me miss being an Artificer if approved, because they'd actually be cool beyond what they already are :D

This lore has been denied.

Not much to say admittedly, we voted in amendment chat and the LT did not seem to want these changes.
