Current:

Spoiler

Voidstalking requires 4 slots dedicated to Voidal Magic to learn. One’s Voidstalking will go dormant if they lose knowledge or practice of Voidal Arts.

Changed: (bolded)

Spoiler

Voidstalking requires 3 slots dedicated to Voidal Magic to learn. One’s Voidstalking will go dormant if they lose knowledge or practice of Voidal Arts, or possess less than 3 slots of Voidal Magic.

This was one of the most stupid dumb dumb amendments ever. It doesn't stop minmaxers - it actually gives people more reason to pick up MORE magics. it's inconsistent with the rest of the feats for no reason, it doesn't give a player any buffs, and it makes No Sense. Voidstalking isn't good enough to warrant the prohibiting of multiclassing it into things like 2 slot mysticism or seer, combinations which are scarcely ever done regardless. Increased mana and 2-3 mid abilities (due to their thousands of nerfs) do not warrant it.

+1 tbh voidstalker being 4 with the other three being 3 just never made much sense to me, even with ascension

it disincentivizes minmaxing by limiting the individual to one particular suite of magics (that being mostly voidal, due to needing 4 slots)

I think we have been at this point before and it got denied.

But personally I think 4 slots for voidalstalker is justified. As it is the subclass/type of mage that is overly dedicated/obsessed with the void. It would make sense for it requiring more slots.

This lore has been denied.

This went to a vote and did not pass. Voidstalkers are the peak of Voidal Influence, so they require 4 slots.
