KITAAB AL-SALAAM: HERE.

Iman Rashidun is a monotheistic faith rooted in the revelations of the fifth Prophet Ash’aar, the Wandering Wizard, who traversed the desert tribes of Aegis bearing verses of divine origin. His teachings, compiled into the sacred Kitaab al-Salaam, call for the worship of the One Lord and the pursuit of Salaam, meaning "peace", through obedience, mercy, and the establishment of justice.

 

The Prophet

Long ago, in the days of Aegis, where the desert winds carved stories into the dunes, there lived a man, remembered as the noble Prophet Ash’aar. He was a wanderer without a tribe, traversing the sands with naught but his lantern, seal, and the company of his servant. His words were unlike any spoken before, verses woven from the heavens, calling to truth and to the sole worship of the Divine.

 

The Qalasheen tribes tell that wherever the man set foot, the land itself grew still to hear him. His voice carried not only beauty, but a force of truth that pierced the pride of chieftains and softened the hearts of warriors. 

 

The prophet did not carry with him the might of an army, nor the grandeur of a Kingdom. Instead, he carried with him a divine purpose. He spoke in measured verses, each carrying weight beyond their words, a source of truth and guidance for lost souls, and a mercy from the divine.

 

He visited the tribes of the Qalasheen over the course of his holy mission, each time leaving behind a House of Verses. To some, he taught the wisdom of leadership and fairness, to others, patience and humility, to others still, courage and endurance. 

The Gathering

After revealing the final verse to the last of the tribes, the Wandering wizard crushed the seal he’d carried throughout his mission, a tool to verify the authenticity of his verses among the tribes, he then entrusted its pieces to his faithful servant along with a sacred task. He was to journey across the breadth of the Qalasheen sands, conveying a message to every tribe: that none among them held the whole of Revelation, but only a fragment of its wisdom. Each was honored with a portion, but never more, for the fullness of the Divine guidance could only be known when the tribes came together in unity and humility as the Prophet had told them.

 

The servant’s mission stirred the desert like a great wind. Where once the dunes had seen parties of raiders and warriors seeking plunder, they now bore scholars, sheikhs, and emissaries who carried not the sword, but the word. Tribes that had long regarded one another with suspicion now opened their tents to exchange verses, eager to discover the wisdom entrusted to their brethren. The harsh paths of ambush and rivalry were now transformed into routes of knowledge and wisdom.

 

Soon, the wilderness itself began to change. Where once there had been only barren stretches of sand, waystations and caravanserais rose to welcome travelers, Aviary posts carried messages swiftly between distant tribes, ensuring that no verse would be lost to time or distance. The desert, once a place of division and strife, became a living network of learning and fellowship.

 

At last, all this movement culminated in a gathering unlike any that had come before. In the valley known as Wadi al-Hijrah, the “Valley of Migration”, every tribe assembled in a vast encampment, their banners rising like a forest of colors against the horizon of both free and enslaved tribes. There, the verses were recited, compared, and carefully compiled, until the fragments were bound into a single whole: the Kitaab Al-Salaam, “the Book of Peace”.

The Kitaab

The Book, known among the Qalasheen as Kitaab al-Salaam, is revered as the complete and final revelation of the Divine, the faithful believe that its words carry both beauty and the power to shape even the hardest of hearts toward righteousness.

 

It is revered as a mercy from the heavens, not simply verses, but a way of life. Worshippers recite it in prayer, scholars ponder its verses in the Houses of Learning, judges turn to it for guidance in matters of jurisprudence, poets echo its cadences in their own works, seeking to reflect even a glimmer of its light. Around desert fires, its verses are sung as lullabies, and its words carried into battle as reminders of the Lord’s will.

Origins

The faith of Iman Rashidun traces its origin to the revelations bestowed upon Prophet Ash’aar, a man of divine insight who rose amidst an age of spiritual decay and civil strife.

Before his time, the peoples of the south traders, tribesmen, and slaves alike worshipped a pantheon of spirits, fire worship, idols, and ancestral patrons. The moral order had fractured; slavery, usury, and endless tribal wars had become the law of men.

 

It was within this darkness that Ash’aar emerged, proclaiming the Oneness of Allah; the sole, indivisible Creator and calling for the return to Salaam: divine peace born of obedience, mercy, and justice.

His early followers gathered around him as disciples, scholars, and warriors of the spirit, naming themselves the Ummah rashidun: The Nation of Rightly Guided, though it held no statehood or nation, it was a nation of faith, its citizenship based on the Testimony, its residence in the heart.

Wars of Rejection

The rise of Iman Rashidun shook the old world to its foundations. Tribal leaders who profited from idol worship and oppression denounced Rashidun as a heretic. camps burned, and many of the early believers were martyred.

 

These years became known as the Wars of Rejection. The faithful fought under the banner of the Prophet often resembling the oneness of Allah defending their caravans, their camps, and the Prophet himself. It was during this period that the concept of Jihad was first codified, not as conquest, but as the struggle in the path of Allah: to defend the truth, resist tyranny, and purify the soul.

 

The Tribes began slowly one by one joining the prophet, which led to the eventual end and the years of peace where the faith prospered beyond the scopes of humanity where other descendants began to revert to the Truth.

Rise of Faiz Kharadeen

Among Ash’aar’s most devoted companions was a young camel herder named Abdullah Kharadeen. It was to him that the Prophet gave a solemn instruction, to name his newborn son “Faiz,” for the child would be the first to be born and raised within the faith of Iman Rashidun. Yet Abdullah remained unaware of the boy’s true destiny, having sent him to be raised among another tribe prior to the Gathering.

It was only after the completion of the Kitab and the Prophet’s departure that the Krugite clans began a harsh persecution of the enslaved farfolk tribes. They enforced the worship of idols and spirits, seeking to reclaim the religious dominion they had lost during the Wars of Rejection.

 

Faiz Kharadeen had become a devoted scholar of the Kitab Salaam and a revered student of the faith, often praying that he might not be the one foretold in its prophecy. Yet when word reached his tribe of the Krugite oppression and massacre, he knew he could no longer flee from his duty to Allah.

 

Known for his courage and unwavering obedience, Faiz had steeled his heart to answer the cry of the oppressed farfolk. He would take up the cause of Allah, to gather the scattered and cast off the chains of bondage laid upon the Farfolk by the Krugites

 

Under the leadership of Faiz Kharadeen, the scattered tribes of the farfolk were forged into a single, resolute army, he named them the Mubarizun. After vanquishing the Krugite threat, Faiz turned his gaze toward the gravest transgressors: the Banu Jerez. They had abandoned their covenant, returning to idol worship and committing unspeakable acts, sacrificing innocent women, children, and steadfast believers of Iman Rashidun to their false idols, all in pursuit of a victory that never came.

 

The Mubarizun descended upon them with divine fury. Their leader fell to a single, fated arrow, loosed by the storied warrior, Khawla bint Ashruf, the famed companion of the Prophet, who avenged the martyrdom of her son and husband at the hands of the Banu Jerez in a battle long past. That day, the tribe of Banu Jerez was put to the sword.
Faiz Kharadeen had liberated the farfolk and gathered them once more beneath a single banner. He established the Caliphate, as foretold in the Kitab al-Salaam. With many of the Prophet’s sanctified sites. tribal lands and places of worship, all laid to ruin by the Krugites, Faiz set forth on a path that would forever reshape his people.

 

From a sacred relic bestowed by the Prophet, a single brick used by the tribes to draw wells and raise structures, Faiz began his great endeavor. The relic came to be known as the Brick of Wali Faiz and with it, the Great Masjid was raised upon the very ground where the first place of prayer had once stood. Around it rose the first city of the farfolk.

I MUST BE CLEAR: This roleplay religion is NOT IRL Islam, while yes it carry much merits and cultural value we made much effort in researching and separating it from IRL Islam to prevent ooc issues and rp clashes that would ultimately lead to an ooc clashes,  and made much changes due to IRL religious beliefs to keep things separated.

Worked really hard on this to make sure it is separated from RL Islam. As All the writers were Muslim, we put alot of effort to make sure we did not make a mockery of Islam, and also respect the original lore built by our predecessors.

 

While also adapting to the many new server rules, which made some parts of the rp religion bannable.

 

This was made with the full intention that every defendant race can worship, and fit with the ORIGINAL lore of the server as the Rashidun faith was intended to be as.
