The members of the Moderation team that have been demoted/removed deserved an explanation as to why at the absolute minimum. Realistically, they should have had most consistent and clear communication from you, their Admin, about what was expected of them and the team moving forward. Clearly they were perceived, publicly, as hard-working members of the team and had recently done a good job as Moderator leaders to try and quell some of the public outcries. To remove them so suddenly, apparently without any prior communication, is disgraceful and unprofessional.

 

This post does not address most of the biggest concerns this community has about the server at present - your own professionalism included. While you should not put words in Daisy or Squak's mouths, you should push, and should have made any kind of statement about recent discussions that you have supposedly been reading. Or any kind of statement about how the overall Admin team is moving on certain topics beyond war.

 

If you have taken on a new job title that leaves you unable to put in an appropriate amount of time as the Moderation Admin of this server, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take an official step back. Your real life should take priority - a sentiment I believe to be true, and push on every roleplayer here and elsewhere I have ever known. But, given your position in server leadership, you also host a responsibility to do what is best for the hundreds of community members here, and what is NEEDED is an active, professional, and courteous person to lead the Moderation team. If you cannot provide that any longer, it is healthier fo you, for your team, and for this server to step down.

 

The moderators that have been suddenly and cruelly removed from their positions deserve a public apology. Your team, cast into chaos and hard work overr the past 8 months as you have been away, deserves a public apology. And the server at large, which has clambered for structured, competent, and communicative leadership deserves a public statement and apology from the entire Admin team.
