What are you on, I'm not even arguing a point on this thread other than my initial one of suggesting adults be kinder to kids on here. I got Werew0lf's age wrong because of a joke from last year that was not obviously a joke to people who don't know him very well, and accidentally started a meme about it. Wish I could say it was some master stroke to steal the spotlight, but it wasn't, just a mistake. I'm not trying to dunk on Werew0lf and I'm not saying anything about him that he hasn't said himself, except for the whole age thing.

 

The one thing you're right about is the fact that I need to stay away from the Forums, I genuinely don't know how I keep having opinions that prove so controversial that I end up in a debate. I'll give a comment, people will respond with trolling and memes. Apparently I'm supposed to meme back? Would my reputation be better if I devolved to insults and roasting people? Would you respect me more if I was a jackass?

 

I feel like I'm trying to communicate with people who are speaking a completely different language. Maintaining civility = bad and embarrassing, just roasting people = good; trying to have a serious discussion = bad and embarrassing, taking nothing seriously = good. I'm expected to inherently know all the in-jokes and lingo, and when I don't people act like it's some deficiency.

 

I had a paragraph typed up about your crash out about Lotharia and your weirdly pro-monarchy demon, but ultimately decided that I don't want to be the kind of person who's slinging insults and roasting people on the forums.
