You dont think having 10-20 people in a meeting room may become chaotic?

Oh, there won't be 10-20, it'll just start off with a small number as shown in Thorik's document. If it did get two big, one of the suggestions was to split the council up into different sections but we were going to discuss that when the time comes.

Edit: If you mean who will be in the lower council to keep control over everyone, that will generally be the role of the High Lords.

I just somehow feel that the system may become to bureaucratic and never get anything done..

This:

Head Architect - 1

Head Blacksmith - 1

Head Miner - 1

Archbishop - 1

Grand Champion - 1

Head Guard - 1

Legion Commander - 1

+

Lords and Guild leaders is quite a bit of people no?

Yes but these guild leaders are there to represent the people in the guilds, which is really a far less bereaucratic system than we currently have.

Edit: The Grand Council will also be making sure that the lower council is doing it's job. The lower council is really the new High Council but it now has more people involved.

The old system wasn't very regulated, so I wouldnt charectarize it as a Bureaucracy. This system is much more complex and if not implemented correctly will not work.

But what makes you believe that it will not be implemented correctly? Also, bare in mind that this won't all happen at once, we'll make sure that the people who get the positions are active and will actually do their jobs. The system is supposed to encourage more involvement from newer player instead of the old system where we were being ruled by a minority.

Hmm.. What if instead of a guild leader on the lower council, the guild leader was represented by a merchant/buisness/guild representative and Lords were represented by a Lord Baron?

Is it just me or is LOTC down?

The guild leader is the representative, I'm sure if the leader didn't have enough support from his own guild, he'd be kicked off the council and replaced by somebody who has more support.

Lords are basically the new Lord Barons, why would they need somebody else to represent them?

And Baron is a leader of a village/town outside of the kingdom being owned by the kingdom. The lords represent themselves and does not have a spoksperson other then themselves.

The lord baron title proved itself useless.

Im suggesting that you simplify the government. The purpose of the Lord Baron would be to speak for all of the other nobility or lords instead of having 15 or so people that have donated and want to be lords on the lower counil. What is the purpose of the political member on the grand council?

there has never been that many lords ever, And if you would read the document it would be fairly easy to understand.

And lord baron is a useless position, And the other thing is Lords represent themselves and their family.
