The house prices in Oren are unbelievably high, so many people are homeless because of it.

I think there should be a new part of Alk'hazar near the military ward.you know the empty land with like a stone thing in and make that area for cheap small houses with one public farm, for all those starting out and the houses could have 2 floors and cost about 3000. So more people are not homeless and the normal houses brought down about 2000 so a 10000 house costs 8000, something like that.

They're my ideas. If you want to talk more about them msg me, I have applied for architect also so if i get accepted i could show you the plays if you like. Just some ideas, i have many more also

Thanks

I agree completely. We need a new housing district so that less people are homeless. Otherwise, you end up carrying everything around with you, and if you are attacked or robbed, you lose everything - and that can be unbelievably frustrating. Furthermore, having no home makes work hard, and turns many people to crime. However, people can always use inns to live in util they have acquired enough money to live in a proper house. But Hawk is right, Al'Khazar is a hugely popular city and therefore homes should not be made too cheap, else the whole city to fall into decline.

I have a question for everyone. Why don't you get roommates? The houses aren't so expensive when there are three or four people living there.

((Like Hawk said, pricing in cities are really high! It really isn't realistic that everyone gets their own home in Al'Khazar, people should room with friends or move into an apartment complex which we need more of to be realistic. Plus when the taxes are implemented then me thinks you'll want to have a roommate :P))

I personally really love Galahar, despite the problems I have had there. The homes are cheap, and well made, and if you aren't a bad guy there is a really good community.

...What are you talking about Grimbeard? Galahar is a city within Oren.

((As hawk said, popular cities have comes with a heavy cost. BUT, the reason why so many come to Al'Khazar is because of how 75% of players are human, and there are very few GOOD Oren cities left since Whisper Isles was given to the Orcs. Galahar happens to be poorly located near Undead forces and/or is on Kings' road, which just happens to cause 90% of all crimes IN the server. The prices need an Adjustment, but doesn't need to be shot down to 1.5k. Just use some of the tax money to put in more inns Here and there. OR...Start a settlement in the Verge. I didn't see human claims in the verge, Anyways. Just Horribly disgusting cobblestone forts.))

The prices in alkhazar are interesting. On one hand, they are set by the king at the price he thinks is best, and this price has raised the kingdoms finaces successfully and withdrawn us from any risk of economic crash

But now that protection against that isn't needed, we must turn to think of newer people. Many are entering alkhazar for the first time, with little money, and little stature. And they need good sized homes. Yes, the new slums are cheap and effective for short term storage, but they aren't houses. The only way to once again encourage the growth of alkhazar will be to lower these prices. But it is up to king Enor now
