Dear Fellow Elves and other Folk,

I have posted the following letter for you all to read, around every bulletin board I possibly could around Aegis.

~It appears a growing concern has risen amongst our once safe home.

What we all thought of Malinor is disappearing before our very eyes.

We are all aware as we could be, the threat of the undead, but we aren't as sure as we think.

With the turning of my old friend Lirinya, I only have worse news.

As of late a few days ago, she and others burned our holy town of Ravenhold to the ground, leaving nothing but charred forest floors.

This is absolutely devastating. Many of you have thought it to be safe, but with her eyes surrounded by a mist, Lirinya is Malinor's worst threat.

She has been in every corner of our land that is possible. What you once though secure, is now the least safe as possible.

Still, I have hope.

Regardless my feelings, it is time to have a call to arms. I believe the Wardens have now been occupied by other importances.

I have travelled these lands for years, and watched as our people grew in strength and in fear. The happy elves, once sharing their ales with each other, regardless a stranger; these visions have dissipated. Our people scatter, in hopes for more occupancy, or other benifits at that.

We tirelessly devote our souls to this world, and we ask for your help.

Please return to Malinor! We need our brave, cultured peoples, and that of other nations to save Malinor, for I fear the worst is coming.

With increase in attacks on smaller cities along King's Road, and the increase in undead activity, I beg you to help others along their journeys, wether it's lending a few Minas ((Or getting their lost items back to them)). Small steps can lead to the best in everyone.

If you are interested in joining a support group for Malinor, you can do so now regularly at Dawn's Diner located right inside Laurelin when you enter the gates. We would love to see you all.

Times are growing dark, with the Verge, we hope to explore, with Aegis, we hope to survive. Time is of the essence, my friends.

Beware of your surroundings. Trust all that you know and love. Spread good hope around Aegis! We can beat the exaggerated forces that are the undead!

Join our fight against the undead!

Stay Strong,

The Tree Lord~

*Torak walks to the message board, a smile on his face. As he notices this new letter his smile disappears*

Haelphon, this sounds like serious business. Even more a reason to try to do all I can to stop wars within the dwarves, orcs, elves and humans. You can count me talking out problems with the four races and if it comes to protecting Malinor, you can count me on the battlefield with the undead.

Torak, you are a very dear friend. Your words are very kind. I hope to see you soon, especially at the Tree Challenge. Best of luck in the talking aspect, I'll be connecting the Nations by memories. Hand in hand, my friend. *smiles*

*puts his arms behind his head and reads*

A sad thing Liri left us.... before she turned completely I asked her for a memento. It was a blue flower. With her giving me this I know that she cared for us. And she would not attack us. Whatever you saw may not have been Lirinya. So stay strong and fight back. Whatever you do dont stand in front of the undead. You are looking to be killed simple and clean. Try and maneuver to there blind spot. There you can strike.

If I am ever needed you all know where to find me. Just look for my home at the entrance.

I met Lirinya once, she was nice to me, it can't be true that she was corrupted in such a short time!

I am bringing all of my talents to the aid of Malinor. Already a few others and myself have been scouring the lands around to find the encampment from which they dwell. I doubt the undead can form from the thin air around us. If we can somehow find where they hide, we can make a strike back. This would put them on the defensive for once and slow further attacks on the Holy Princedom.

I have no doubt that I will turn up something soon. As I've shown in the past, these sort of things show themselves to my eyes when they remain unseen to others. It is fortunate that the gateway in Laurelin was found some time ago and sealed, it could have suffered the same fate as Ravenholde and Sister City, but much earlier.

Though our blood is immortal, we no longer have the luxury of time on our side. We must act swiftly and everyone must do their part to ensure the survival of our kin and that of our culture.

I'll continue the search and make sure to report back with the findings. These monsters must be routed. Those who were slain in battle should not have fallen in vain. I will see to it that their memory will be honored and never forgotten.

Valer swallows against the lump in her throat as the reflects on the fundamental bravery and kindness of Haelphon. Returning home, she begins sorting through the ruins of her home, saving pages out of books, pressed flowers, and the remains of her wardrobe. Wiping tears and ash from her face she locks her door and begins travelling towards Malinor, to the aid of the man she loves, and his people.

The wardens may not be as powerful as they once were. I mean this as no disrespect to the wardens. The wardens have a bit of a track record of chaotic and erratic attacks, for example: the un-ordered attack on Oren. A larger, more-organized standing army may be better for defending Malinor. If we are to defend Malinor, we need a greater army encamped somewhere so that they can get to wherever we are being attacked quickly. On top of the undead threat, the Orcs and the Dwarves are on the verge of war, and, as we are allied with the Orcs, we will have to take part in that.
