Irehearts, What People Need To Know (Ooc)

After the recent attack in Alras, and some previous situations. People have taken a hating of the Irehearts OOCly. said they don't RP.

Sadly this isn't true, many would say we are meat heads that do nothing but PVP or fish for it, and no RP kill people. But it's just how the Ireheart's life style is it's a life held by true dwarvern honor. If you're familiar with dwarves, you would know you shouldn't call them short, stout, or stupid. As dwarves will easily get offended and mindlessly kill someone for such a remark. The Irehearts do follow this code with great pride, so #1 Don't insult a Ireheart unless your ready to fight!

Next is what Irehearts do with the dead bodies of their foes, people would say it's disturbing or just plain crazy, and we act like orcs. The difference between us, and the orcs is that we do not desecrate the trophy we have collected, we don't piss on it or eat it. We simply hang it in our halls, and think of what we've accomplished. It's a trait the Irehearts have collected which is basically like "Waste not want not". Also to note Vardak has done some pretty disturbing rp actions as well, not to offend him. But some of the things he deos is rather filled with gore.

And finally, Irehearts fight to defend their selves, their rights, and their kin. The battle against Alras was a good example of this, people said because of what mediocre told them. That we just mindlessly went in to murder people! No we did not, we where greeted by the ascended in the throne room, and we talked. Though being our characters we did insult them, mediocre came in and was willing to pay a 100k bounty on all Irehearts dead or alive. He said this in RP, and OOCly as well. This is when goldrim and I went to Alras, I got there first to warn them of their actions, but when Goldrim got there that was when we started fighting, we gave them warning, and spoke to them as well in ooc, and warned them that the Irehearts acted in such manner.

This whole disaster occurred because Goldrim was pissed on by a goblin and then killed him, after the citizens and guards decided to attack him. He did not kill any innocents, unless your term of innocents includes civilians trying to kill him. Also for the ascended that got killed during this quarrel, Goldrim being a damn good berserker accidentally killed the ascended as his/her character passed where Goldrim was hitting. This happened to me as well when we where fighting in Alras for the bounty rampage.

So remember, the next time you see us act. You need to recall we are savage dwarves, who will take any challenge. No matter what the action, We may say little. But when we fight we fight for reason, because it's hard to rp in the middle of a war! (yes the gms gave us the ok when we stroke it was a war.)

Thing is, Goldrim didn't kill just one Ascended, he killed two or three I believe. He also repeatedly killed one of them, and assaulted another.

That is false, the only Ascended i killed was Tigergamer and no other. And even that was an accident, people have to understand that if people are fighting they should stand back.

If he repeatedly killed an ascended, then a ban report should be filed on the ascended for returing to the death point multiple times.

I'm trying to stay neutral on it too, but your suggestion is not going to work. I was standing in front of Alras the other day and the dwarves started trying to pick fights with me and a friend. I tried to extricate us but the dwarfs chased us around the city and made threats and stuff. Not very fun RP at all...

Do you really think that anyone besides yourselves enjoys the bullying aspect of your RP? Why not try and make it fun for the people who you play with too??? Would that detract from your enjoyment in some way?

Just because some players don't like conflict, doesn't mean that every Player Killer ought to be obliged to roll over and pee like a puppy. They're not camping your home and sleeping in your bed. If you don't want to be bullied and killed, avoid them. It's a role-play server. There were a ton of wandering thugs in the medieval era. If you don't like it, learn how to fight back or evade them altogether. And if there's a single incident where they chased you around and you were running scared, tough luck, that was your decision.

I never found it entertaining to be minimal-role-play zapped and face-mobbed by undead, yet still, an entire faction managed to do it for months and we all just went along with it. Too bad. If they're having fun, good for them. And if you can't find a way to have fun, I feel sorry for you.
