A pamphlet as attached to every message board in Malinor, telling the sad tale of a corrupt system. You stop with the gathered crowd to read said pamphlet, entitled "History Remembers the Victors".

Greetings, Citizens of Malinor.

I am Ebs, your former prince. Now, you are all saying, "What, former Prince?" But, I assure you, I did not have a choice in the matter. High Princess Indelwehn has ordered my dethroning, through secret means, without allowing me to present my case. She did not hold a vote, she did not ask every council member, she did not even talk to me. She would not even deliver the news to me. She sent Quazar, the corrupt former leader of the wardens, who repeatedly threatened High Prince Native that they would rebel, to tell me what she was going to say. Before he delivered the traitorous news, Indelwehn sent three thugs to beat me up. While they were in armor, I was told by a source that they were Rigrud, Amroth, and another, all who owe their positions to the High Princess. I fear that you, the citizens of Malinor, no longer live in a Princedom. You live under the tyrannical regime of a corrupt ruler, who bypasses procedures to accomplish her own political agenda. Under her leadership, Laurelin has grown weaker, our defenses are near useless, the druids have left, countless murders have been committed, and now she is ruling by decree, destroying the princedom and all of the freedoms we have worked so hard to maintain. You, citizens of Malinor, have a choice. Your choices are obvious, so it is up to you. Choose freedom, or choose to live under a tyrant.

You begin to hear whispers as others finish the pamphlet, and you begin to hear discussions of the corrupt system.

*reads the note and laughs scornfully*

So, this man, a prince thought dead, killed by Morrigan, is now alive and claiming his position was replaced by the High Princess Indelwhn, who only naturally did so because he was supposedly dead.

I'm sure Ebs is still too weak to resume his duties, it was a smart move by Indelwhen to replace a ailing prince anyways.

I don't see any evidence that Ebs is 'ailing'. He's had plenty of time to recover from a simple injury. And while it is true that his position was filled in his absence, the fact still remains that there has been no call to the council for the admittance of the last two seats.

And if his claim proves to be true that he was assaulted in the manner he claims. There will be dire consequences for those involved. This will be investigated, that much I can assure you all.

(( haha, Ebs you were going to be kicked out before you died as well, it wasn't as spontaneous as you might think, there were many reasons and decisions that you made that resulted your expulsion from the council. Not to mention we decided not to make a point out of the obvious power gaming you went through to bring your character back to life (from what I heard you were literally obliterated). On top of that nearly everything is not true in what you have said and it is exhausting that people like you keep 'declaring' things and stating things that frankly you know nothing about.

-Prince Quazar

PS: Can't we have one person kicked out of a guild/group without attempting to start a rebellion of sorts 'sigh'))

Aviala shakes her head, disappointed.

"I would have never believed that Ebs could turn against Indelwehn. She has been doing her best to protect Laurelin and it's citizens. Ebs was believed to be dead, and was away for years; it is only natural that somebody else has had to fill this position. Even if someone attacked Ebs, I do not think it was Indelwehn who sent them. He's blaming her, but does he have any proof? I have never seen the High Princess commit a single bad or unfair deed; she has always been kind to everyone, and loved by many. And Ebs expects us to believe him, even though he hasn't shown any kind of evidence of Indelwehns corruption?

I choose to believe in our good and trusted leader. After all, in these dark times, if we don't have any trust and loyalty, what is there left for us? Only suspicion and betrayal.

((Quazar, rebellions are great for RP and I doubt one will even happen anyway.

((first of all, he wasn't 'obliterated' he was shot by an arrow. Second even if what he is saying is false, our characters don't know that and to point it out OOCly is metagaming, IC actions have to be dealt with ICly, not OOCly))

So it seems even the lofty elves are susceptible for corruption. Nothing but more evidence supporting the suspected heresy in and around Laurelin. Laurelin is melting anyway, miasma coats it. I place my faith in the dwarves. Let us see the Ghasts wreak havoc in an underground city of stone!

(( It's not meta if it isn't transferred over to rp like any ooc information is. Do you think there might be a reason I posted it ooc'ly and not rp? Please don't try to lecture me on rules I obviously have a clear understanding on. As for 'obliterated', as I said that is only what I heard I could state that as the absolute truth. Please no more ooc in this thread message me if you wish to continue.))
