A axeman is a normale citizen of the dwarven nation, They are called upon during battles to either help conquer or to defend.

In the city they are normale citizens, A few of them might work as suppliers to the army and such.

-----------Beardlings--------------

The Beardlings are fresh recruits right out of training ready to prove themselves on the battlefield. In war they are the freshmen, out for blood and Glory.

In the city they are Guards, They make sure no unwelcomed guest passes the gates. They are often set to man the gates in times of peace.

----------Stonecrushers-----------

The Stonecrushers are the backbone of the army, Already proven their worth they fight with controlled savageness and spread death and fear amongst their enemies. There is somthing glorious about a squad ot Stonecrushers lead to victory by War leaders.

In the city their job is as supperiors to the Beardlings to walk around in the city making sure nothing ill happens as the citizens to on with their daily life. Their job is to patrole the city.

A rank of legionaries is some of the most frightening to watch upon, Fighting with calculated strokes each one delivering death. Many Nobles fall into this rank thereby the Legionaries having some of the best dwarven crafted armor, Glimtening of Diamond and gold as they march their enemy will either be stunned in awe or flee like frightenend elves.

In the city their job is to take care of the towers and scout out for anything, Always being quick to light the signals and warning the rest of the city if somthing is to happen. Their job is in the towers.

The Lieutenants are the Righthands of the Longbeards, They fight at their side ready to stab an enemy that attempts to sneak behind the leader or to block a swing at the longbeard at any cost. They help the longbeard run the squad and is their most trusted man

In times of war they hang out in the diffrent Walls taking care of the Beardlings making sure they make no mistake. Also they are set on prisoner duty, Taking care of the prisoners beatings and feedings.

----------Ironbreakers-------------

The ironbreakers is the dwarven elite, There is non more deadly, Non more fierce then these. A single hand of them is more power then a orc raiding party twice their sice. In battle they are found spread out in pairs all along the battlefield, And where they go Chaos and mayhem follows. Many grand armies has fleed on the sight of the Ironbreakers.'

It is the Ironbreakers job to make sure the city is safe from any monster, They keep the grand underground tunnels safe from any invasion of the cavedwelling monstrosity. These dwarves are veterans of many wars, And they are the few that live underground where normale dwarves does not. They are grim and deadly, And always expects the worst. Their job is to escort people underground in the tunnels and to make sure no unwanted visitors ever get down there.. Ally or Foe.

----------Longbeards---------------

The Longbeards are some of the most millitary geniouses the dwarves has, From their youth they have been trained in the arts of war. If one proves weak he is cast out from the longbeards in a moment, And it might even take a decade for another one to be elected.

Often they come from Noble Families, The Blackaxes and Braveaxes has been known for their share of Longbeards in their time. They are all up for the title of Grand Councilor and High lord.

Squads be a guud idea fer da Legion. Glad de suggestion to utilize dey squads I made to Tarion got implemented.

Do any o' da squads 'ave commands 'et? As in, I t'ink each squad could do sumtin' different, one be out gaddering resources to fuel de' Legion, da udder training in da wilds, and da final two be doing der guardly duties. Would let da region fuel demselves radder den bein' sustained off of somewhere else.

On a side note, I t'ink a good name for da squads would be cohorts. Cohorts o' da Legion, goes togedder. Er Regiments, but regardless t'is a personal opinion.

As a loyal dwarven citizen I do 'ish to serve mi' people but most likely not on a daily basis. Perhaps dere could be a group of citizens who conscript durin' wars or larger battles? A dwarven militia, aye.

Finally, I t'ink we could also include mure branches in de Legion. Since de Legion be Karik's defense n' uffense, der could be civilian and even political branches (spies, assassins). De legion be all encompassing after all.

Assasins an' spies goes under tae political side of tae Grand Council, It 'as close tae nuthin tae do wit' War. Te' Commanders of Squads are te' Longbeards.

I s'pose, but dey still do fight and can set up sabotage fer de legion. And I t'ink da Legion can really benefit wit a' indepth civilian branch.

Mi' axe mastery be rusty and I nary got de' time fer grunt work. But, I can easily help wit' logistics, supplies, troop movements, resource management, and general strategy. I'm sure I'm nay de only 'un who too busy to fully enlist but still wish to 'elp out in dey Legion, so I t'ink a civilian branch wuud be guud.

I know a few tricks and tips and I can also 'elp teach de' Beardlin's a t'ing or two 'bout fighting if need be. Can even give a demonstation to prove mi' wurt'.
