((The only problem I could see come up would be the lore of technology. I have talked about it with the GMs previously, and they want to try and avoid solidly defined technology lore, as this prevents people from interpreting things their own way. I support making a university that isn't just for high elves, and perhaps actually works as a university. Best of luck to you! I may come look it up on Ovrid. Be prepared to actually read the RP books I've written. =3))

*Tyret spots the announcement that the university is created and sighs irritated.

Tyret grabs his quill and starts to write a respond, putting it up at the announcement of the opening of the Unversity post.*

"Dear students and teachers.

I saw your program, the things you wanted to teach in and I nodded and smiled, thought that someone finally were able to put responsability into themselfs.

Teach others usefull things such as sience and history, math and writing.

Then I shook my head and drew my axe.

If you will start this semester with the usage of teaching in magic, the Wihuns will stop you.

You're teaching kids the arts of corruption...

We can't let you do this.

Put this into note.

Send me a bird with your response.

We need this stopped...

-High Etrith, Tyret Wolfgank Farfor."

((Aaah, this looks very cool. Looking foward to get some good rp with you guys. :) ))

*Grimherst sees the leaflet*

Hmm...they might need a language teacher.

*He sends a bird*

Dear sir,

My name be Grimherst Grandaxe, and I believe I would be the language teacher your looking for. I know every language in Asulon, Except for Kharajyr, and only partial Orc, and Mori'quessir, though it is rough.

Sincerely, Grimherst Grandaxe

((Trust me I'm not pulling this out of my hat, I put it on my whitelist app even))

((I'm sorry, but I don't recall ever seeing you in Menorcress or near any Mori for any great length of time to learn the language, even in some small level. How long did it take you to learn the small amount you might know, and who taught you In-Character? You cannot just say I learnt the language, you actually have to learn it. If you think you have learned it from a translator or can learn it in a Biography where you have to do nothing to earn it you are sadly mistaken, you must learn it in character...))

((why? Almost everyone puts 'trained to be the best swordsman ever!' on their app. Whereas Grimherst is only fairly competent in swords. I traded in combat for language, no one seems to learn archery or swordsmanship in game, why should language be any different?

((There are multitudes of people who can train you to use a sword(Hell you might even train yourself on beasts of the field), there are almost 0 who can/will teach you Mori. If you do not have someone who taught it to you how on earth could you learn it? Make sense? The Mori and even the High Elven languages were both made to be only learnable through RP means to prevent Metagaming and verbal powergaming. Just like its a rule that you cannot join the server from the get go as a Mori, you cannot just know their language either.))

((Well as I said above, my Mori is rough, Grim only knows hello pretty much. He does not know Khara at all, and his Orc is very limited.

((Your statement seemed to mean a more extensive grasp on the language, though still you shouldn't know it at all if you weren't taught it. If you wish to expand your vocabulary and knowledge of the Mori Language you have to learn it through legitimate In-Character RP.))

((to prevent Metagaming and verbal powergaming. Just like its a rule that you cannot join the server from the get go as a Mori, you cannot just know their language either.))

((I am being devil's advocate right now but it seems to me that to become Mori is to metagame. If you can't enter Asulon with the character backstory of knowing the language and the only way to learn is through rp then how can one honestly become a Mori without metagame? Since Mori aren't chosen from the start and must be selected then if the person selected was taught the language on a different character then the knowledge of that language being transferred over into their new Mori character is in a way Meta. One may say that since the person is a new character that they wouldv'e been born a Mori and would have grown up with the language. That is all explained with ooc, which is similar to Hamin explaning that he was taught the langauge.

Again just playing devil's advocate. Try to see some sort of logic in my claim.))

((That's like saying you can't make a character that knows common straight up...So that argument is quite invalid. The mori language is a long and difficult language to know. Even some of the Mori don't even speak it anymore since they don't know it IC. But learning Mori is like being a Cat-Dwarf, It does not work without development. So please stop fighting and chill out, Read twilight and marvel in this person's charter. Grimmeh out~))
