The Elves, Reconnecting With Our Kin

To all my fellow elves,

I think it is our best interest for us to brain-storm and produce ways of gathering elves for RP events.

Right now there is little incentive for elves to live in our glorious capitol Normandor. Hence the usual empty streets and quiet shops. If we could have some events (market events, competetions, sieges, adventures, treasure hunt, CTF?, etc.) planned it could help boost Malinor's economy and bring some of our kin back to the Elven lands.

((I am just a little tired of Salvus having more elves than the capitol so help show your Elven pride!))

Nobody is there because very few know how to get there. A very cheap or even free fast travel boat at the Cloud Temple should help with that.

I agree with that alot.Eladriel and Normander are basiclly empty. Its been an in-game year since huwel's seen an elf in any of the places which is ridicolous..But Im pretty sure theirs some goverement problems to do with the cities which is why nobody hangs around..

But they still should have a boat!

I have no idea how to get to Elandriel or Normandor. Even if there is no boat, very clear signs are needed.

There is a fast travel boat around New Boria.

Honestly the road leading to the elven nation is very misleading, since it winds up as the Nawari Trade Camp. You have to jump up a mountain, cross a bridge, past a tower, and there should be some very obscure path that brings you to a dock.

Haelun'or almost always has people in it, I think the biggest issue with normandor is its overly big with heaps of houses yet no one to live in them. You need to condense your population.

Create some new RP! Think from the point of view of a player. What would they want? Perhaps a campaign to stop people from logging trees? Maybe try to expand onto the continent. Or try to take over a jungle biome.

The problem with the elven population is our timezone matches up almost identically. I had Talias come by last night and it was 'dead' in Normandor. We RP'd for a bit, he got bored and left.

I was then in a small event with about 6-7 elves that all arrived at once, not but mere minutes after he left :P

So we're here, just not when you EU folks are around. Our numbers could use a bit more (and we've condensed the living area, try 'buying' one of the outlying houses, the price is $NO :P ).

We're more then happy if a group of EU folks want to roll elves and buff up that time zone's RP a bit. We have a few that can be around at those times to get you into housing if needed. Or if you contact me I can try to set you up.

Sounds to me that we need to get some work done on the mainland.

- Finish the road to the docks (I traveled it and it was a bit ridiculous)

- Put signs up to help newbies travel there.

Have we ever thought about a tour system? Where we have elves or monks escort players to the docks and back.

(Also for players: there is a boat on the Monestary docks leading to Holm. Holm is an island just east of Malinor. Check it out on the websites map.)
