Imperial Legion Soldier 34 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Yes max pre donation is 275. They have done skill resets before for people (it's a simple conversion of skills to credits) (well simple in terms but possibly hard in the actual doing of it.) anyways so I'm sure they could do it again. Yet you level it up the way I said right? Just making sure because I have been at 175 since the non-MCMMO stats was added.
Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted June 12, 2012 This patch has some bugs man. My farmer lost all his coal cooking, at 100 cooking lvl. And smelting stone hardly works with mining, and repair.
gabriel101x1 463 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Can we have a comprehensive article about the whole system posted on the wiki? Also although I love Vaq and work he does I am a bit dissapointed that he just springs such a radical change on us without first asking the community's opinions. I mean the server is funded by the community but it often seems like we really don't have much say in how the server is run.
someguy45187 29 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Actually, in the livestream Vaq was taking suggestions. That was basically the vote for what he was doing.
gabriel101x1 463 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Actually, in the livestream Vaq was taking suggestions. That was basically the vote for what he was doing. Sorry my mistake. But a livestream is a very bad way to go about getting the community's opinion as many people are unable to watch them due to being away etc. Livestreaming means that only a select few get to voice their opinions. EDIT: 25 cooking for bread? Bread is extremely easy to make IRL. Out of all the food in minecraft bread would by far be the easiest to make IRL. TheNander 241 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Skill reset is a good idea, but unrealistic. How would we do it? Give everyone 275 points? Have everyone modreq? No, it'd be too much. Keep in mind everything is stored in either a file or a database. If its a file he can just go in there and wipe everyone's stats, but with a 24-48hr warning first so people could screenshot their stats so they can remember what their stats were originally so they can set them back to what they had them at if they really liked them. A poll on the homepage would have been nice, with maybe an announcement in game regarding it.
Space 2335 Share Posted June 12, 2012 But to reset everyone, we'd all have to modreq, and then we could lie and get more then 1 skill reset. Meh, the GMs and admins can decide.
Judoc 3 Share Posted June 12, 2012 I don't think anyone responded to this, so I'll ask again. Were seed drops from wheat disabled? I am a level 100 farmer, and I am not getting any.
Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted June 12, 2012 The whole patch was still buggy I think. I mean seriously, if you have 100 cooking and you can't cook the food, there is a problem. And It takes me a couple hours IRL to make some bread from scratch. 25 level crafting is dumb for bread. It is more realistic, but it should have been extensively tested. People don't have to modreq for a server wide skill reset. Vaq can convert everyone on the server's skills into credits with a click of a button. The players can then spend the credits how they without needing a GM. This is already coded into the server. I don't think anyone responded to this, so I'll ask again. Were seed drops from wheat disabled? I am a level 100 farmer, and I am not getting any. I am level 83 farming. Since the patch my seed drops have halfed for wheat, so that I now only get 1 seed drop %50 of the time. But I am still getting seeds. The whole patch was still buggy I think. Casamir 42 Share Posted June 13, 2012 Any word on if we might be able to be blessed with a skill reset? Tried playing today but I was a bit bummed out by how little cooking I got from what little meat I had :(
Space 2335 Share Posted June 13, 2012 I think the GM's are just ignoring us :P. But as Putin will soon find out, we will not be quieted! Someone post on the idea's forum!

Yes, I have started getting seed drops as well, just not many. I hope this decrease in seeds is not part of the patch. I hope it is a bug.
