Is anyone up for going back to karik? The housing district and the entertainment district are untouched and very nice. Housing is expandable and mines can be set up using the teleport system to get people to the new mines and such. I really wish the dwarves to go back to one main city like before but I shall see what everyone else thinks.

There is a way to get into the city around the side. I would want us too keep the ravanged outside but have a racial spawn for dwarves so we dont have to leave the underground.

You guys had your shot at a beautiful city and you ruined it, so I vote no for the sole purpose that you do not deserve to live there. I am by no means mad about the whole situation, but as I mentioned before, you had your chance.

At this point, I would like Karik to be rebuilt, but not as a city. It would be more of a memorial for the Dwarven that have fallen in battle. The deeproads, plus the idea that we are talking about in PM can also replace Karik for the ideas you mentioned

I have to agree with Goldrim on this one. The dwarves just keep hopping from city to city and it is getting them nowhere. The best idea yet is the one you are doing right now, the multiple holds. The multiple holds keep the dwarven enemies apart while keeping a council-ish system that the dwarves have always had. Just mah two cents~

If we are to go back, their should be no turning back. I also do agree that there should be one king but a council as well and applying to join the council shouldn't be so easy. This time I hope we RP more within the city more often because most of the time I just saw everyone running around. I think the Teamspeak has caused this since most of the dwarves have teamspeak. Hopefully people RP more often and I'm not saying we don't but I mean we should RP more than just War and PVP. When we go back lets make sure we have everything in order before making the trip back, or else were going to go on the same path and cause us to split yet again.

The system we have now fits and so does the diffrent holds. I agree with Tyrion, Goldrim and Phelrin.

+ nobody suited to be king of all dwarves.

I never had a say in abandoning karik as I left due to political reasons buy, I miss the great city. And this multi hold is ok but spreads our rp to a great extremes.but as i said up to you all to chose I dont wanna be a loner.

In my opinion the seperate hold idea is making the RP very thin. We don't have large enough population to support this, and to tell you the truth only place that is gaining RP is Kal'Anart I heard. The other holds aren't getting much RP at least from what I'm seeing. Don't take my word for it. I also have a great fear in RP that we are going extinct slowly with this system.

We probably a least could have the Architect's Guild (I'm not sure if they're even still intact) work on starting to restore Karik

And Omithiel, once the deeproads are completed the RP will grow back together. Once we are linked, we will flourish

I think if were to go back everyone should lend a hand even if not an architect, since It drains the creativity and energy off of just having a few architects.

It's not like we can't repair the damage, but Karik is huge, in the few times I've been down there with Ined since its destruction, I get lost everytime and either soulstone out, die or spend hours finding my way out. I have no problem with the idea, but if you do decide to do it, please cut the amount of room it takes and just leave the main cavern and some of the side areas, then populate those.

Also I know for a fact many dwarfs hated the idea of abandoning the city, but as I never lived there my opinion carries no weight.

I never wanted to leave it. We can leave the main hall and the others destroyed or be future projects and live in the two I mentioned.
