*A young blacksmith steps into Arethor with his sister, a farmer, a young scribe, a few young lances, and a minor nobleman. Many of the peasantry and guards watch in surprise at this strange mixed group of people. They walk together to the park gazebo drawing a large crowd of peasants, merchants, military, minor nobles, and even clergy. The core group who follows the young man say that he is here to address the people of Arethor. As the crowd gathers many wonder as to what this young blacksmith has to say, as he is only a blacksmith. The crowd now roaring with conversation is suddenly hushed by the core group as the young man steps up onto the gazebo surrounded by his core group, just in case of protection, and so that he can be seen above the large crowd that now has gathered in the park.*

"People of Arethor, People of Oren, please listen, please hear my words. We have all suffered, this is the truth. We have been executed, oppressed, and controlled by the nobility for years, but hear me. They do this not out of greed or power, but out of safety. You have seen notices of men of dark intentions, you have seen wanted posters for bandits, assassins, and other men who wish ill upon the men and women of this fair land. They are the ones who are responsible for our hardships, and not the Emperor nor his advisers."

*Raises his hands in a placating gesture.*

"It is true that we have few rights if we are not men of military service or we are not born to noble blood, but change cannot come through revolution or resistance. Our country was established long ago by revolution and resistance to men who cared not for our people, but this is not the time for such things. Now is the time for talk, for discussion with the Emperor. We must have education, we must have basic needs, we must have a voice!"

*raises a fist and slams it on the railing beside him.*

"But we cannot gain anything through violence! These rebellious groups have only led to more aggression against innocents! It will never help to have shadowy organizations who hide from his Imperial Majesty's justice! We must be open and speak openly to our merciful and great Emperor who wishes nothing but the best for this Grand Empire. I ask you now, the people to stand with me, in the light, and openly, without weapons, without hate, and use our most powerful asset that makes us all equals, our words!"

*Raises his flag with the symbol of the peasant fist above him holding the olive branch of peace. He shouts even louder to be heard above the growing noise of the crowd.*

"We shall speak, with the voice of the people, and bring about a true change for the good of all the people of this fair Nation!"

*When he finishes some of the crowd cheers, some even speak in agreement to this young man's ideas. However there are some who disagree and some who even wish to speak as well, the young man invites any to speak freely here and now so that all may be heard in equal measure.*

Alexander Horen hears this voice, listening and sighing slightly

"Then won't listen to him. They never do. They just throw stones and wonder why we take action. They break out laws after months of warning and call us monsters for keeping peace. This man has a good idea, but they will take it to violence as always"

Alexander looks out at the crown from the walls, shaking his head for the violence to come from them

*Snickers at the sight of the crowd*

This is how out of hand Arethor has gotten?

*Janux Sighs*

Someone should get them to the gallows.

*Adras hears this shortly after wandering into the city. He thinks to himself for a bit.*

Why are they murdering them if it is their goal to protect them?

*His mind cannot grasp the subject well.*

((Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't that a picture of Andrew Jackson?))

-Areon stands near the outskirts of the crowd. Nodding his head in approval, however his expression shows worry and doubt. He leaves the crowd, heading to the cathedral to carry out his original intention, and be on his way.-

*Valador listens to the man and ponders a bit*

"Peace in Arethor?" He thinks to himself, scratching his beard. "I've never seen anything of the sort here! Why must only Arethor know? Speakers like him simply do not deserve to be heard in one city."

*Valador goes goes to the taverns and inns of Oren to spread the word of the speaker.*

The old fisherman blows a bit of smoke before taking a drink of his ale. "If he makes it through the day, I'll be surprised."
