*twirls a single finger in the air*

*mutters a no-hearted 'yaaaay' to nobody*

Well, I wanted a foot... and I got an inch... Better than nothing I suppose.

*Snarfs down his breakfast, grabs his gear, and sprints out of the inn. Instead of it being dark, it's late afternoon instead*

Small steps.... small steps.... maybe they'll see the light another day...

Won't this make a year take longer in real life to happen, meaning that aging will happen significantly slower.

Yes, a year is now 12 RL days. An Elven week is now MC 126 days. A seed is now RL 2 days. A Malin's Year is now 30 years and 120 days.

Hey #LOTC,

Yesterday we polled you on what day/night cycle intervals you would like the best, and 60 minutes (up from 40 minutes) won by a land slide.

Poll: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/?p=3375

As such, we've extended the in-game day/night cycle to last approx. 60 minutes :).

I believe it's an hour for both day and night. :)

I don't really understand the benefit or detriment of this at all. I just think it's slightly worse because it may hurt RP somewhat in the sense of travel because of the longer nights, but maybe I'm crazy.

Good thing this wasn't on when the Undead sieged Kal'Dwain... We would have had to hold for 2 hours before attacking their siege camp...
