Concepts: I don't have pictures since I'm on my phone and the other build were on my old server that was sadly hacked, briefed becuase they oped themselves and used work edit, then deleted for the loss of hope. I do have a picture of the griefed castle.

Other works: I don't have the pictures but I have made hobbit holes, castles, dungeons, tree houses, and cave hideouts.

Duty you'd like to apply for: Tera-forming would be what I would focus mainly on

Concepts:: I rely like nature builds, giant trees, craving rivers through landscapes, and when it comes down to smaller things, I tend to build more natural instead of sharply. This being said, palaces and villages are not out of my relm of doing.

Other works: On a separate server, I was a lead terraform in the hoard of people working the land scape down to a workable shape. Unfortunately the server was shut down do to lack of funds and all my work was lost.

Note: I have looked at this before and dismissed it, yet now do to the current "crisis" we are dealing with, I have finally decided to apply. we need all the help we can get eh?

Heya!Since the recent events I feel like helping out.

I normally don't keep record of my stuff I've done, but I'm great at organisation.

Concepts: Well as stated above I don't keep records. I always try to make fancy stuff and then enjoy it for a while. If it gets lost in my mind it isn't worth remembering (:

I did some nice stuff since I'm on LotC, most likely community projects. I helped when we arrived at New Karik as dwarves with several sectors. I'm most likely the person that refines the stuff.

Other works: I built Germania once, which was for sure my biggest and best project.

I'd appreciate to work at several stuff. Maybe even the islands. Everything that has to do with war, dwarves or mountains can be done by me.

This application is on the very first page and on a following page it is recommended by Gaius. I do not have a Teamspeak as I prefer skype and my username is NarlyBrah, however I can always be contacted on forums and through the MC Text.

In these coming days I understand the server is in a rush to complete the map and to do a job right it needs leadership, coordination and skill and I believe I can bring all three of these elements and apply them appropriately on the Build Server to get the job done quickly and well.

Please consider this application, I really want to help the server.

Mountain Pass

The passage will be etched into the mountain, cutting into it a two block passage, allowing for an atmosphere suitable for bandits, tariffs and other interesting roleplay situations.

Island Bridges

In order to add the feel of an island I would build wooden bridge with short posts go into the water, the wood gives the emotion of closeness to nature and community as well as the tropical feel.

Ravine Bridges

The bridge would consist of stone bricks, a somewhat curved bridge and an arc underneath, this displays stability. If necessary a bridge can be made out of wood and fence posts to represent instability.

Duty you'd like to apply for: Terraforming, Honey Bee Work.

Concepts: I work with sponges, and I work well with natural looking but still player made structure's, which you will see in my works.

Other works: This will be my first work for lotc. This is what I found in my recent screenshots.

The first screenshot, is a mountain I had dig out and then made a dent, which is now a little town, for a build server.

The second screenshot actually took me and a couple of friends a week, using creative, to build floating islands. Unfortunately I had only one screenshot. This is probably my very best work.

The third image was on a pvp server, my faction decided to build in the ocean, build a wall around a claimed area and sponged ALL water inside the walls. I did most of the sponge work. (Here is the big picture of the faction, to prove we sponged all the water inside. Click to see the whole base)

Concepts:

I like to design and makes trees for 3.0. I believe large trees can tell stories and can create new and exciting role play. The shapes and designs of the trees can portray emotion and race. For example, a magnificent tall tree with large branches could display power to the race that owns it.

I like the idea of houses all hiden and tucked away in trees. Normandor was good but it still had Human-Like houses. I would like to see the use of Tree in a more Elven-Way where the whole settlement it tucked away inside this one tree! So the market to the docks, it will provide protection and originality towards the Elves. For Example this:

Also I would like to see more a contrast trees in 3.0 instead of just normal vanilla trees. For example Palm Trees

I'm mostly an interior decorator/ detail builder so honey bee work I can accomplish with a keen eye. If you need the help, I can sweep over the lands and clean up any messy bits that might've been forgotten. Thanks for the consideration and keep up the good work everyone!

Duty you'd like to apply for: Terraforming/general building work.

(I'm very keen on adding details and atmosphere to builds. I'm also very good at building military structures.)

Concepts:

Villages -

Each village would have a specific trade or duty in mind when built. For example, one village would be specifically made for farming and would be built around mostly flat field locations while providing housing for fieldhands. Another village like a mining town for example could be built by mountains or areas where accessing natural mines is more easy. Villages with their respective themes would also include fitting structures built out of plentiful resources like a sawmill or a large smithy. Overall the idea is to create a theme for a village, and to promote the idea of trade rather than independance.

Farmsteads -

A plot of land containing a log home for a family or noble who owns the land, a well for gathering water, one or a few barns for housing animals, a large range enclosed by fencing for cows, a chicken coop and several acres of land for growing different foods. Ideally a farmstead would be built on a flat plot of land with a river or lake nearby so crop irrigation is made easy. Farmhands could live in a nearby village or in small shacks built among the acres of farm land.

Port Cities -

Designed with trading efficiency in mind, port cities would be placed in locations that are easily defendable by sea and by its surrounding land; possibly on the waterfront side of a mountain. There would need to be access to areas where resources are plentiful and can be easily brought to the port town. A port town would contain a large area that is meant for commerce, a naval military base overlooking both port and sea (a citadel) and possibly an area meant for the building and launching of new ships.

War camps and temporary establishments -

Small establishments made deep within enemy territory or at a front of a commonly invaded area, war camps would be built out of simple materials that are easy to come by in the area it is built around. For example a simple war camp would contain several tents for military housing, a larger tent made for storage, an open fire pit for cooking food, one or several towers to overlook the area and a jagged wood wall to keep the camp protected from invaders. As these are not meant to be permanent camps it should be kept in mind that they should not be built using heavy or semi-permanent resources such as stone and should instead be built mostly out of wood.
