A highly decorated letter has been posted on Haelun'or's bulletin board. Written in a royal blue, the document is adorned with gold leaf trim and overlaid with intricate patterns and designs. It reads the following...

~<>~Elefer'bilokal - The Gilded Hammer~<>~

Mali'aheral of Haelun'or,

I, Silir'ilume, now serve as caretaker of the Haelun'or smithy. My work is of only the highest quality and all of my pieces are free of charge for every citizen of Haelun'or. I am able to forge anything within reason upon request. As was done previously, all completed orders will be delivered personally. As is tradition, no minas will ever be charged for any of my goods. However, donations and the like keep the smithy running and are all tremendously appreciated. With the departure of the previous smith, supplies are running quite low indeed and these donations are indeed vital to the continued existence of Elefer'bilokal.

Van'ayla, lliran.

Silir'ilume

A rough map of the city has been drawn out and posted under the document. Traced on it is a path from the bulletin board to the smithy for any of those who might otherwise have trouble finding it.

Seth sees the note, a small smile on his face as he reads, he mutters to himself. "Good, I should rather make my request before this one vanishes too."

Seth walks into the smithy to see the smith is gone, most likely sleeping or getting supplies, but what ever the reason he walks back home where he takes up one of his bone white papers where a red sun is on the top, some gold coloured leafs on the middle that casts some shadows on the edge, the ink is blue as the sea and it reads.

"Dear Silir'ilume, I am legate Seth Calith, and I request a custom made sword, one unlike many you have made I am almost sure, one that is far from the elven norm. A long and thick sword, one that should be holded in two hands to be swung effective, it needs to be made of just iron, if there is any further questions, do ask them, I live in the grand tower nearest the lift from the streets to college.

-Legate Seth Calith."

Seth walks back to the smithy, still no Silir'ilume to see, he leaves the note on the anvil with a little stone on it so it does not fly away by the wind.

Silir'ilume, having just woken up, hikes down to the smithy to check supplies and ready his forges for their daily workload. Noticing the ornate note on the anvil, he removes the stone and begins to read. After doing so, he nods to himself.

"I didn't realize that Seth preferred greatswords over a hand-and-a-half. Certainly unexpected." He shrugs. "Best get started."

Lighting the forges, Silir'ilume prepares for the day's work.

((The forging process will be RP'd out in-game over the span of two hours. After finishing, I will deliver the sword personally. Feel free to drop by at any time during the forging process. You'll be able to make any more requests and truly customize your sword should you choose to do so.))

*After a lot of sketching and designing, Yuln comes at the smithy and leaves a tube containing some pieces of paper. On the tube is written in a neat, clean handwriting.* An order for the Gilded hammer. *The paper it contains have several sketches, showing a bow and a dagger:* 2wp2yo8.png282e5v4.png

*There also comes a letter with the tube. It reads:*

Silir'ilume,

I have a two requests:

1. I require a dagger, one like is drawn on the paper that came with this. The total lenght of the weapon should be 1.5 foot. The blade of you best steel and the hilt enamelled white, decorated with a circular Sapphire surrouned by a ring of gold.

2. Further would it be appeciated if you could make an attempt on smithing the blades that are shown on the sketch that has been delivered with this. They need to be light and strong.

If you need any more information on smithing the blades and dagger, I live at the farms.

Walking into the smithy with a bent and warped iron cane in his right hand, Lucion marches straight up to the anvil, and places two small pieces of bone-white parchment as well as the iron cane upon it. After doing so, he looks at the objects for a few seconds, and nods once, quickly walking away again. Upon one piece of parchment is a rough drawing of what appears to be a small version of the lightning-rod atop Haelun'or's science-tower.

Upon the second paper is a note, written in Lucion's typical golden ink and neat, cursive letters.

Silir, my good fellow.

As you may no doubt see from the rather dismal condition of my cane, I require a new one post-haste. Though I do not especially require one any more, now that I have regained my strenght from that unfortunate affair with the arrow, I have taken a liking to the feel of the iron in my hand as I walk down the myriad of paths in our exalted city. I would like to order s new cane, this one modelled after my beloved lighting-conduction pole. I included a rough picture so that you would not get confused while bashing away at the metal. Do try to make it as strong and light as possible. One would hardly enjoy having to revisit you every other karin for the same request.

I left the old one so that you can perhaps use the iron from it in other projects. One hates to be wasteful.

Kalenz enters the smithy. Clean white robes trail behind him. It takes him precisely four steps to cross from one end of the room to the other before standing infront of the counter. In his hand sits a mask, a deep crack runs down its center and the slot which once held a gem now sits empty.

JFQQh.png

"Llir, you smith correct? Might you be able to repair this?

He places the mask upon the stone, a quiet metallic thud is heard as it collides with the stone counter. Now facing upwards the downturned face upon the mask is all too clear. Its sorrowful eyes staring to the roof. From his pocket Kalenz produces a red gem. This too is placed upon the counter.

Silir'ilume sighs at the documents piled up before him. Leafing through them, his curiosity is piqued at the odd requests.

"Such things I have never before crafted... Regardless, it shall be done one way or another."

He marches himself down the path to his smithy, pondering over the day's coming work.

(The smithing of these items will start with the first post and go down the list. I will be RPing crafting them in my forges. You may come along and watch if you so wish.)

It is a calm, warm day in Haelun'or as you make your way along the central pathway which runs through the entirety of the Silver City. After just reaching the inn, and the central pavilion area, your right ear picks up a rather curious sound. It seems be be that of... Parchment... Yes, you're sure of it. Parchment, gently waving in the soft breeze. Turning to locate the source of the noise, you notice a small bit of the suspected material fluttering about the floor of the smithy, carried on by the various drafts which periodically make their way through the building. Resolving to return peace and order to the small room, you quickly stride over, and pick up the parchment. Turning it over to survey its contents, you notice that it appears to be an order, bearing the seal of Arthane Lazul. After looking over the bit of writing, you place it back upon the smith's table.

Silir'ilume, having just completed a number of business-related errands in Arethor, enters the Silver City. He takes a moment to regain his composure, glancing up at the emerging stars and taking a deep breath of the cool, evening air. He methodically marches himself down the beaten stone path towards his smithy. Upon entering the smithy, Silir'ilume notices a piece of weathered parchment placed on his desk and weighed down with a small rock. Removing the rock, he reads. Looking through the open window towards the now star-speckled night sky, Silir'ilume nods to himself as he contemplates the coming day's work.

[[As stated previously, the making of your requested weapon will be RP'd out in-game. Feel free to drop by at any time to check up on the progress.]]

As the afternoon sun begins to sink low in the horizon, Delonna casually strolls through the streets of Haelun'or. Taking a moment to smirk at Lucion's grass and the obvious mistreatment it has received. He enters the smithy to find it empty, and leaves his amended sketches on the counter.

A small note has been added, detailing some requests and specifications.

"Here is the sketch I showed you earlier, along with the details you requested. The blade must be made from the strongest yet lightest material you have access to, as to not unbalance the weapon. From the tip of the blade to the top of the staff should be about 3 feet in length, and the staff itself should be about 4.5 feet in length.

The staff itself should be made of wood, with exception to the metal parts shaded. The wooden part should be left undecorated, as I will be attaching and covering it with some material myself. The blade should be mostly undecorated, with exception to the spear-like part joining the staff and sword. The actual design for these decorations is irrelevant, though the sides of the hilt at each end of the staff should share them.

I can’t think of anything else worth adding at this stage, other than that I would prefer the metal’s finish to be of a fairly light shade. If you have any other questions, I’ll be happy to answer them.

~Tilruir'nor Delonna."
