" Ye 'ave been King fer years 'iebe, ov course ye 'ave been given a chance. Th' problems are known, an' visible to everyone, ah'm sure that they're even visible to ya as well. But if ye truly want tu get rid ov th' re-election, jus' make it official. Think dis through. Ye got a fair chance fer bein' elected, Goruk should as well. "

I yer fecking king gorum. I will be until da council votes me out unanimously. Whut ove da consular? He has much power as meh and can be my voice when I'm gone. But nae ye put all da blame on meh. I'm tryin tu be a king ove da people but I cant tink ove people tu replace da inactive council members. Dis is why da council members should elp their king and suggest a removal and promote anudder.

" Ye are me King, an' ah didn' blame ya. All ah said is tu give Goruk a fair chance ov election. Dat is all. Nobodeh put blame on ya, did lads put blame on th' Paragon when 'e was unfairly removed from power? Nay! This isn' any different, this be an election. Th' council will make a vote, and it doesnae 'ave ta be unanimous, twu thirds ov th' council must agree on one thing fer it tu pass. "

*steps forth into the room, raises his tankard high and yells out

"Kayne fer king yeh lit'le fecks!"

*chuckles as he drinks a swig of his tankard and begins to speak

If da coucil beleevs a re-election be in ur'der, then it be da thin' tu du! They nay 'ave tu all vote yeh oot. Ah believe th' people uv Kal'Karik shuuld 'ave a say in this tu, we all be a big famileh, ye knuw this. If Goruk wants a shot, then give 'im a shot. Ye shoul'nt 'ave anehthin' tu be worreh'd ab'oot.

*sits down in an empty chair, Agreeing with his true family, da goldhands, looking to Goruk and Gorum nodding with happiness to be present.

Bael laughs because Goruk and Gorum are not related to Kayne. They are Frostbeards, not Goldhands.

So the idea is te 'old elections simply fer the fun uv it? Is this government a joke te yeh? Are we simply pieces in sum sort uv seemin'ly esoteric game? Problems that are supposedly well know, were obviously not. It is yer duty as a Dwarven citizen te suggest changes te the king, not remove 'im. Gorum, I respect yeh greatly, but this is foolish.

Melanite Irongut stands up, taking the opportunity to stuff a sweet roll in her mouth. She sits down. Then quickly stands up again, unsure how she got to wherever she is. She spies one of her pigs passing the door to the chambers and quickly lass-scampers after it, leaving the boring, smelly old dwarves to their work.

After hearing the commotion, Consular Valen Grandaxe steps out from behind a pillar, slowly lumbering towards the podium. He looks over the crowd of dwarves, his voice bellowing throughout the hall as he speaks.

"Per'aps ye all beh forgettin' wae weh beh unoited n' nawt still stuck in our 'olds, plottin' out ov petteh grudges against each udder?! Iv nay blud is tae beh spilt, weh must beh settlin' t'is tae appease bot' clan Irongut n' Gold'and!"

The dwarf leans over the podium, his voice slightly calmer and composed by now.

"T'ere appears tae beh a grey area in our constitution un w'edder er nawt t'is beh allowed. T'erefore, iv tuh ov our council members wis' tae call fer a vote ov nay confidence in 'iebe's rule, ah sae weh beh callin' upon eac' council member tae vute, aye er nay un w'edder weh s'ould beh 'oldin' a re-election. Iv a majoriteh wishes fer it, ah re-election will bae 'eld. T'at beh t'e wae tae settle t'is wit'out bludshed n' ov wut t'e Brat'mordakin wud expect ov us... Anyt'in' else n' weh will beh riskin' civil war."

Valen turns his head to Bael and then back to the dwarven council members, letting out a slight sigh.

"T'ere'll beh nay talk ov traitors er anarchists 'ere lad... Ah wud first call fer an emergenceh council meetin' n' weh will decoide w'ich course ov action tae take frum 'ere."

Kilgrim stands up broadly as he speaks in a deep toned voice,

My fellow kin. Are you not blind to see that Hiebe is a fair king. 'ave you not found that we 'ave been diligently working to better this nation. For those of you who possibly think you can be so prominent to do a better job that of our current king must be Yemekarr himself. I blame you the people for wanting to revolt against Hiebe for it is your duty to bring up problems within our community to which forth speak to the council about said matters. Not once have I heard the cries of our citizens complaining about current events, jobs, money, etc. While we work hard for the betterment of our society you neglect to mention any problems and therefore because of this they cannot be solved. Please, speak up now. What troubles do my kin have?

Signed,

Head Rememberancer Kilgrim

*Gulroid happens upon the gathering of Dwarves as they argue about who should be king. He shakes his head sadly as hateful words fly back and forth*

"Dis is what 'appens when ye give power to de people," Gulroid mumbles to himself, "Hiebe should neva' 'ave relinquished so much of 'is power"

*Stroking his beard, Gulroid lingers at the back of the congregation eager to see how things turn out*

((To those wondering: As the history stands now the Frostbeards are related to the Goldhands. Gorum and Moruk married into the clan and are considered clan mates. All of their children thus have Goldhand blood in them.))

Gorum stands up, slightly annoyed.

" Simpleh fer th' fun ov it? Nay, you don't understand what is goin' on at all lad. Th' problems are well known, and it ain't me responsibility tu fix them. Ah do my job speakin' wit' me contacts outside ov th' nation. It ain't me job to enforce th' council, that is th' job ov th' King. These problems 'ave been going on for years. Ah remember when th' Paragon was unfairly removed from power, fer what? Fer independance? Aye, that was it. Tu be independant from every other dwarf, 'e was tossed out ov power like it was a game. That was foolish, this is completely the oposite ov bein' foolish.

An' all ov th' lads claimin' this is a revolt... what are ya foolish? This ain't a feckin' revolt. Was electin' a new King after Thorik a revolt? Nay. Was electin' a King after Paragon Kjell a revolt? Aye, that was a feckin' revolt. Any lad whu was involved in unfairly removin' th' Paragon from throne was considered a traitor, but dat was simply shrugged off as if it was nothin'. King 'iebe isn't bein' betrayed, or thrown out ov th' throne like Paragon Kjell was. Nay, this is an election, every dwarf will 'ave a fair chance at voting. Jus' like we did fer all ov th' previous Kings. "
