The Frothy Lake

Aris Snowbird, Folco Wineroot, Bartley Riverdale and Elder Bili Hollowmead all shout in anger when the last of the Branborough Buzz, a special brandy from the Vale back in Asulon, begins rolling down the hill in the New Vale towards the small lake. Tears of anger, the Halflings despising their weeks without ale and wine, stream down each Hobbits' face.

After a few moments, the barrel breaks on impact with the lake. The Halflings shout in agony, watching their precious brandy simmer and bubble in the lake. Elder Hollowmead jumps into the lake, gulping down the last bits of the Buzz, and sits about, moping. Folco curses the day, Aris shouts at the events of the day. Elder Fairfield sleeps in his burrow, oblivious to what is happening. Bartley wonders when he will get a burrow. Bili then gulps one more swig of water, tasting the brandy even stronger. His hope rekindling, he takes another swig. Stronger yet again. Crying in joy, he realizes that the lake now tastes of the Branborough Buzz. The other Halflings join in, gulping down the lakewater and realizing its magnificent taste.

They shout in joy, exclamations such as,

"Of all blessin's, this is the greates'!" "I-I love this d-day..." "YEEEEEEHOOOOOO!"

Elder Bili commands that ten barrels be filled with the lovely lake-water, the water that tastes of brandy.

Halflings all around come to enjoy the taste of the newly proclaimed "LAKE MEAD". Forever will the Halflings and drunks of Elysium enjoy the wonderful, alcoholic lake.
