(( Forum Ic Letter.. Please take into account this letter is sent to people who we believe might be worshipers of Iblees. This is a letter..not a poster thrown up anywhere.. Also this will be changed in the 3.0 opening. Oh and may I suggest some theme fitting music ))

After the fall of Aegis the god Iblees was Imprisoned with
in the nether. His divine will, The destruction of all the inhabitance of Aegis
was never completed. After his imprisonment most if not all undead were either
locked in the nether with him or dispersed to afraid to even attempt to awaken
there god. Many years pasted.. Ausulon was settled and all was merry. The faint
memory of Aegis however still lingered in the hearts of many. Ausulon prevailed
and the undead slowly became more myth then fact. The few Believers that did
wish to break the chains of Ibleeses imprisonment escaped into the crevices of
the world. Then a child was born.. A few weeks after the first settling of
Ausulon Shameer Hassildor was born. His life was all but normal until he hit
his teen years. Shameer became more and more obsessed with Iblees and the
undead. Eventually he himself met a devout follower of Iblees and they became
Immediate friends. A few years passed and Shameer became a full follower of
Iblees, willing to give his soul away for his god. Shammers friend was
eventually killed by a group of Bandits, Shammer found the body. He wept for
his friend but he knew it was apart of Ibleeses larger scheme. Shammer found a
drawing on his friends corpse.. It was entitled " The Star Of Iblees
" Shammer pocketed the drawing and went on with life.

After many years of studying and learning about the undead

Shammer became a sort of Aegis/undead historian. He eventually met a strange
Vagabond, There chemistry was instant. Shameer taught the vagabond about Iblees
and the vagabond in turn defended him. Shammer eventually recruited another
follower and began realizing his true meaning. Shammer was to create a group of
devout  Iblees fanatics, He believes he has a direct connection to the god himself and that others must finish what Iblees started in Aegis.. They must kill all of the unbelievers and unbind
Ibleeses chains releasing him from the nether. They would go under the banner
of his long dead friends drawing... The Star Of Iblees.....

 

 
 
Our Ic Goals

The Sons Of Iblees wish to reawaken the god Iblees and
unbind him from the nether. We plan on doing this by mass sacrifices, fore
filling his will, to destroy all of the worlds inhabitance and to praise him
unconditionally...

Our Ooc Goals

This guild was created for the enjoyment of everyone on
lotc! We wish to be like the old undead but less powerful and more equal to
other players. Our main goal is to become a main antagonist in 3.0 so all can
enjoy our rp!
 
 
 



Might
~~~~~
 
- Heretic: Some one who has contacted the guild but are not yet apart of it. they have shown
some signs of interest and or belief in Iblees. These people are not trusted at
all with in the guild.

- Associate:  A Heretic who has met with guild recruiters
and has been accepted with in the guild, They are trusted loosely as they are
brand new.

-  Sibling: An Associate who is now fully
trusted with in the guild, They have proved themselves trustworthy in one or
two battles and or relic collecting.

- Zealot:  A Sibling in the guild who has risen even
higher through the ranks and is entrusted with over watching and training of
Associates.

- The Eye of Iblees (can be a guild the leader ): One of the few military leaders with in the
guild these  Zealots have proven themselves beyond any others there pure might and mad belief in Iblees have allowed them to have little or no remorse for the ones they kill. they are often
entrusted with planning and leading battles they report to the guilds
"Leader" and are called on to protect him in times of need.

 

Mind
~~~~~

Word bender: Some one outside of the guild who has a quick wit and is good with words, Persuasion
is a great strength this person has. This person either believes in Iblees and
has caught the attention of the guild or has contacted the guild.

Dark Apostle: A Word bender who now is a devout Iblees fanatic and has changed a few
unbelievers minds on that matter. Dark Apostles are trusted more then some
Siblings with in the guild.

Mind weaver: A Dark Apostle who has risen higher, This person has shown that his/her ability
both in word and belief is greatly needed with in the guild. Mind weavers are
often sent to recruit  Heretics and or
Word benders.

Oracle of change (Can be guild leader ): A mind weaver who has truly become one with Iblees.
Oracles of change can twist and turn conversations and there Obsessive belief
in Iblees leads them to actually believe they speak his unholy word. Oracles of
change are often used in situations when there power in words are needed. Also
they speak the words of Iblees, Often about a battle the undead won in aegis,
they strengthen the resolve of others in battle with words alone.




Grand Apostle of the true god: A Grand Apostle is the guilds leader. They are chosen from either
Arch Sorcerers, Oracles of change, or The Eyes of Iblees. This person is the
complete leader over every aspect of the guild. This man/woman's word is law.
They orchestrate sacrifices, battles, Meetings Ect. All guild members answer to
him/her. If the Grand Apostle is ever killed in battle or while still in rule
there body with be hanged in the halls of the guilds main base as a sign of
sorrow and honor of the god Iblees.

Sorcerer: Some one who knows dark magic and believes heavily in Iblees. Sorcerers are often
called on in battles however most are used to find ancient relics and learn
more about Iblees and there magical understanding.

Arch Sorcerer ( Can be guild leader ): A sorcerer who has proven themselves as a great power
with in the guild. Sorcerers are the "leaders" right hand man They
also recruit other Sorcerers. Arch Sorcerers often associate with other
Sorcerers in large councils and delve into the deepest darkest magic known to
man.

The blind: These are people out of the guild who do not believe in Iblees. Guild members think
these people are simple pawns for there use.

The False Prophets: these people are not with in the guild and are Heavy and or strong believers in
any other god then Iblees. These people are often murdered by members of the
sons of Iblees and are seen as useless swits who deserve to feel the ever
burning fires of the nether.






Ic Rules:

- Follow the grand Apostles rules to the last word

- No killing another member of the guild without consent
from the grand Apostle, If you do kill someone with in the guild with no
consent from the grand Apostle you will be burned to death.

- No giving away the location/locations of The Sons Of
Iblees base. If you are caught doing so you will excommunicated from the guild
and will have the entirety of The Sons Of Iblees out to murder you.

- No stealing from The Sons Of Iblees. If caught you will be
hanged then burned.

- Do not speak to others outside of the guild about the
guild unless allowed to by the Arch Sorcerer, Oracle of change, The eye of
Iblees or the grand Apostle. If caught doing so you will be hanged.

- If you are found giving any information at all to another
party of people with out the consent of the Arch Sorcerer, Oracle of change,
The eye of Iblees or the grand Apostle.  you
will have your head chopped off and will become a reminder of what happens to
"rats" when new comers enter the guild.

 
OOC rules:

- Be kind to other guild members even if you disagree with
them. We do not take kindly to people who can accept others opinions and ideas.

- If you find rp lacking with someone in the guild.. Speak
with them and be kind about it. The guild leaders do not want to see ooc
bickering and insults.

- If you are banned from the server for an ooc fight with
another player with in the guild and the leaders of the guild find it severely
bad we will find an Ic reason to ban you from the guild.. We do not accept
people who treat others like trash.

- If your rp is waning to the point of five or six ban
reports in a month the guild leaders will have a discussion with you.. If
things are bad you may be removed for an rp reason we create. We are not saying
you cant make mistakes but if you become so much of an issue that your getting
a ban report every week we wont hesitate to remove you. However we understand
if things irl are not going well and we will speak with you before deciding.

This is the application ... Note this app is not necessary
to join the guild.. If we meet you in character you may be able to join us
depending on what happens in the situation. However this application will help
you CONCIDERABLEY in our choosing to pick you or not. Another thing to note is
the more Evils and the more intense the evils are that you have will  better your chances at being accepted. for
example someone with 5 will have a better chance of getting in then someone
with 2a. I would recommend having at least 3 which is a minor Va for unholy
worship.. Having no Va's will severely hurt your chances at joining. Remember
this is an evil guild thus we are expected to have evil people in it.

Upon anyone, or in particular, their reading of this, a long winded note is posted below them, written in rather annoyed text, fastly scrawled. Only excerpts readable.

Shammer walks to Oren completely robed.. He passes a notice board and finds the letter, He mutters " Such a shame..." He rips down the note and conceals it with in his robes pocket. He mutters to himself a final time " Maybe one day I will find this person and give him to the Vagabond.. Then he would have a good bloody feast.. " He chuckles a final time and continues on to Oren

Why do you want to join The Sons Of Iblees ( We are looking
for around a paragraph or two, One line answers will be auto denied )?:

 Growing up Orodreth remained silent. He didn't talk, didn't have friends, he was smart on the other hand though. He felt abandoned, he grew a strong boiling anger for his haters/bullys. At the age of 17 Orodreth robbed a local bakery for some bread, followed by another High Elf he was. The High Elf faced him and attempted to pin him and report him to the Guards. Orodreth's strong boiling anger tapped in, his blood boiled, his face turned pure red, he threw the man off him, picked him up and slammed his head into a wall repetedly. He left the man lying on the ground with his head bashed open. The guards took note of this and posted Wanted signs around the city. Finding the wanted posters, Orodreth abandoned his parents and the city and excaped to the wild. For seven elf years he dwelled in the forest resting his soul on Iblees' fate.

 

 Iblees was banished back to the nether and cast out of peoples every day lives. Orodreth kept dwelling in the forest still waiting for a sign of Iblees, countless years he stayed in one room worshiping Iblees. he finally decided its been to long, Iblees was not coming back. He took a ship to Asulon and remained silent in Malinor, still not talking to anyone. One day, thats all it took. Orodreth walked outside his humble home and noticed a letter, he snatches it off the door step and slowly reads it. "To whom this may concern, Asulon is over, we have ships waiting at Sanctuary's docks leading to a new land. More information will be explained once arrived," read the note.

 

 Orodreth took a ship with the Elfs to the new land, he patiently waited, still avoiding other Elfs. Finally they have arrived, Orodreth stepped off the ship and quickly made way to Oren. Once arrived in Oren Orodreth did not like the looks of it, he made way deeper into the island. He found himself standing infront of a sign reading, "Welcome To Sunsorrow Inn". The inn was abandoned all that lived there was a Elf, Orodreth dwelled there for many years until coming into notice of this letter.

The Savage shivers, his hands gripping the paper as he shakes his head. "Another group that tries to serve the fallen one?" He drops the bit of paper, his hands running along his bloodstained robes. "He hasn't came in years... The fallen one cannot of gotten new servants, new pawns in his escape!" He starts to mumble. He pulls out a ornate dagger from his robes, the hilt covered in mysterious symbols and the eye of Iblees shining on the blade. "Maybe I should start carving again? Maybe these unworthy bits of filth need to be removed?" He raises his hood with his dagger, his black teeth glinting in the torchlight as he moves the dagger inside his robes again. "Unbelievers, people who watch my activities would know I work alone~ Iblees is my only master." He sighs as he walks out of the town, his bloodstained robes fluttering in the breeze as the crumpled letter moves along the roads of Oren.

*Akal glances over the letter with a stoic expression. With a tilt of the head his sanguine eyes drift up, scanning over the world around him with pursed lips. "Hnmmm..." he would ponder to himself, setting aside the letter and reaching to his coat, sliding an ornate obsidian dagger from it's depths, his stony fingers run over the grooves of the blade, tracing the Eye of Iblees carved within. "Perhaps my opportunity for redemption...Or false prophets, we shall see...a chance to serve the fallen lord's will...or a chance to cull his false worshipers..." Akal sighs some, sliding the knife into his coat once more and writing a reply.*

In which he expects to A: Deal with other Iblees worshipers and further the goal of bringing to life his lord. or B: Cull the false worshipers who claim themselves to be faithful. OOCly I expect to enjoy an interesting aspect of roleplay for the cultist and underground behaivor

[b][color=#ff0000]What are some of your characters strengths and weaknesses?: Akal is incredible with a short sword and dagger however he is only of average strength making his skills of fighting based around precision and speed rather than brute strength. However due to his lack of power in the pits when captured by the undead Akal has an extreme lack of confidence which he masks with anger.
