You must obey the orders of your superior officers without question, and at all times 2. Do not enter the Captain's or Officers' quarters without invitation 3. Do not build within the ship without the Captain's permission 4. Do not take from any chest that is not yours, that would be stealing 5. Do not withhold loot from the rest of the crew, it is to be split into shares 6. You are to wear your uniform whenever you are on duty 7. Privateering Jobs As a privateering vessel, The Snapdragon carries out jobs for whoever is willing to pay. These jobs range from ambushing merchant vessels to escorting convoys. Currently we are under contract of House Silverblade and will carry out jobs as Duke Uthor sees fit. You will be notified of any other jobs. Payment will be divided among those present for the job. Combat Procedures ((Notice: In order to participate in combat operations, your character must have a killing VA (type 2a). PLEASE make a post below when you have done so, so I can know who is authorized for pirating missions. However, a VA is NOT required for you to remain in the crew, only to go on combat missions)) -When in ship-to-ship combat, all sailors must man the ballistas on the side to which the enemy vessel is located -Two sailors man each active ballista at a time -Midshipmen command the ballista crews, directing fire -First mate remains at the Captain's side, taking the helm occasionally -Captain stands at the helm, steering and shouting orders Firing the Ballistas 1. Load with bolt 2. Crank back firing mechanism 3. Staring at it for a second, his eyebrows raise as he wonders something aloud. "I wonder how somebody not in the crew was able to leave this note, I thought the door was locked."Confused, he heads back up the stairs to check the gun deck door locks. Ballistas would be your best choice. )) ((They're not legitimate cannons, they are dispensers that will function as RP cannons for ship-to-ship combat only.
