In-Character Information
Character’s name: Gunmyr
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Human
Character’s age: 24
Biography :
Gunmyr’s first memory was crawling through the forest, rocks and leaves scratching and crunching against his little palms. Tears streaked down his chubby face, the inherent fear of death all humans have surging within him. But, he wouldn’t die that day. Large leather boots fell down before him, and Gunmyr looked up. Before him stood a shortl, slender man, his face grizzly, and his clothes torn and dirty, but somehow, he looked happy. That was the first time Gunmyr met his surrogate father, William.
You see, Gunmyr had been left in the forest by his mother, for he was born of an affair, and to save her marriage, she had to abandon her one year old son. Somehow, she’d been able to keep him secret from her husband for that time, but the nanny who watched him when she couldn’t was demanding more pay, and she had to leave him. But Gunmyr knew none of this, and would probably have been less happy as a bastard than as a child of nature. William was the only father he knew, and when he was young, believed him his actual father. William taught him so many things on survival, how to hunt, how to hide, how to cook and skin catches. Will never wanted to tell Gunmyr he wasn’t the boys father, but as Gunmyr grew well above his own height, he knew it was time. So, William sat him down, and told him everything he knew. That he was found by William, and that dream, was actually a memory.
Gunmyr had trouble at first, but slowly came to accept it. But, soon, the people of Athera had to up and leave, and so Gunmyr found himself in Vailor. Gunmyr and William found the forests of Laureh'lin. Him and William lived in the forest for a little while, sleeping in trees, building no homes, simply traveling the wild. The two did their best to help random travelers, but soon, one of them mentions the nearby Druids to Gunmyr, and the young man sent out to find them, with William's blessing.
Personality Traits: Gunmyr is a very kind soul, despite his appearance. He loves the wild, and takes pleasure in helping the defenseless. He is loud and obnoxious, but has the best intentions in mind.
Ambitions: Gunmyr dreams of oneday becoming a Druid.
Strengths/Talents: Gunmyr’s biggest strength is probably his strength. While he doesn’t like to use it for fighting, he’s a very handy worker. Talentwise, he’s a good tracker, hunter and the like. Everything you might expect out of a wildling. Despite his size, Gunmyr is also quite adept at sneaking through the forest.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: One of Gunmyr’s biggest weaknesses, is that he’s a poor reader. Reading was something William taught him, but not often enough. He often struggles with big words, reading them and pronouncing them. His vocabulary is rather simple. Also due to his size, Gunmyr is rather slow.
Appearance: Gunmyr is a large, muscular man. He has a thick mustache, and his eyes are warm and caring. His head is shaven almost completely bald, and has a few scars where hair no longer grows. They can be seen clearly. He also has some scars on his body, things that come naturally from living in the wild. Gunmyr usually wears minimal clothing, just because that’s all he could make. Most of his clothing is made out of things from nature, but some materials were given to him by townsfolk.
