When it comes to GM's intervening with RP because it cannot be solved in RP, what dictates that it cannot be solved in RP? I'm a little confused, if something is created in RP then it could be solved via rp. I'd just like this to be a little clearer for me, thank you.

What about the times when the OOC method is less OOCly stressful than the IC method?

 

We are not disallowing taking RP to OOC, we are simply cracking down on those who turn IC issues into OOC issues. If you think OOC is necessary to help out a situation, then by all means do so, as long as this doesn't create a problem. :)

Seems more like parents handling temporarily misbehaving children, it may seem unfair or bad but it's ultimately necessary.
