What a shame someone is doing this to attack the players and the game. I do wish the one who is causing these issues step foreword now. As for the players, this is just a perfect situation why one doesn't randomly download things. Check before downloading ANYTHING. Also, have anti-virus software installed on your computer, like AVG, Avast, Norton.... etc.

It baffles me why anyone would do this... then I remember that it's the internet; people are jerks. Fortunately the only launcher I use is the Magic Launcher and I'd never download something from a stranger.

 

Let us hope that the culprit(s) be brought to justice soon.

Just to add on, should you have downloaded the file, run a virus scan as soon as possible in order to remove the threat quickly. Full scan, not a quick scan, even though it takes a painfully long time.

I very much doubt that he actually is AmKrules, the person who made the client probaply has a problem with him
